World's Ugliest Dog Dies

hey all

about a week ago the world's ugliest dog died. His name was sam.

I saw this a long while ago but forgot about it until now. here's his site and a couple of pics of him.

i can't imagine waking up and looking at the calender to see it.

well according to a blog posted by his owner.

the dog was having heart problems and kidney problems if he took the medicine he desperately needed for his heart. his kidney's would surely fail.

so there was really no choice. She had to euthenize him. poor thing.

Why do good pet's always need to be put down. I've yet to have a pet that i didn't have to put down.

Except for my dog lucky. He's still alive but i have a feeling he'll die nice and warm in my room next to the little mini-heater in my room. :wub:

Just the way i hope it will happen. Of course hopefully not for a long while. he's only 14 he still has a couple of years in him. Razz

I never knew there was an "Ugliest Dog In The World" award. It really is true that you learn something new everyday! Anway, back on topic. There is no doubt in my mind that that dog won that contest though. It even tops the one I had thought for years was the ugliest. Sad that it had to be put down, ugly or not, it must have been a love Sad

. My heart goes out to it's owner(s).

Is it just me or does that...um...thing look alot like a rat? At least a rat with hair. Anyone know what breed it was. I imagine it was a mix, but what blend it was that's what I want to know.
