I'm sure there are one or two musicians out there. Or poets even.. and I don't think there's been a thread like this yet *crosses fingers* but I thought it'd be kinda cool for people to post lyrics they've written or are in the process of writing so they can get feedback. Maybe even improve on their writing a bit, god knows everyone is always needing some kind of improvement.. but anywho.. yeah.. good idea?

ok, first i shall think of a subject,...ok, the internet.
next i shall write a poem.

People formed friendships, no questions why,

Mystical elves, and white painted roses,
Often were seen as gods with their poses,
But they lived in their world, so shattered and thin,
preying on children, their demons within.

Whats left to say, but more information,
a place filled with books, and retardation,
used for the purpose to simply be set,
thus was the use, of the internet.

I wrote this for another band in Charleston. We have tons of talent here(including my band) and a few friends of mine that are in another band asked me to write a lyric for them(they wanted a good laugh).

Hah Powtaz's poem started of sounding so serious then it became funny!! Yay I laugh! Anyways I'll write something stupid real quick.

Sure he snorted coke and killed a few,

He helped alot and saved some kids,

but thats ok he just didn't give a s**t.
When he killed Manolo that sucked ass,
but I told myself in time the pain would pass.
But now Tonys dead and he's also gone,
he was stinkin' up the house so now,
he's fertalizin' the lawn.

Well, I listen to Asian music, and I don't understand a word of Korean/Japanese so I make up lyrics to the beat of the songs, just by guessing what the song is meant to say and then comparing them witht he original translations. On paper osme of the lyrics sound weird because they had to match the beat of the song....
