Fencing? Anyone, Anywhere?

My parents say I'm the strangest girl they know. I do the most bizzarre sports because I got sick of team sports like soccer (which I still kinda love) and basketball really fast. I did swimming for a while, but doing 2000 and 1000 meters swims got old. So here's the random sports I do know:
kayaking/rafting
rock climbing
fencing

Anyone else do something bizarre?

I used to do fencing. Didn't last too long though, it was only a small class after school on a Friday. Good laugh though. I can still remember making that poor boy cry one time. Razz

What type of fencing?
And that's painful, making someone cry.
I never have, of course, but I've had welts that my teachers thought I got from being abused or something.

It was foil fencing. And making him cry wasn't hard. Any bloke would cry if you got him where I did. ^_^

Anyways, Fencing I find to be quiet fun to watch...THe only thing is I'd never fit into those tight Fencing uniforms... Razz

Tight fencing uniforms? Which planet have you been on? The outfits we where aren't disturbingly tight...They're just tight enough to look formal but not prohibit movement.

Should I guess that you hit him in the balls? Ouchie. I don't like foil. They have barbs on their blades and it causes me great pain. Too many strike zones, too.
But, any fencing is better than epee fencing. Rolling eyes

Scary? Scary? Sheesh. It's only scary if you're a bad swimmer.
If you're a good swimmer, though, it's the adrenaline rush of a lifetime. One time, we were going over this blown up old damn, went over a 16ft drop. It was sooo cool.
I'm sad you don't like water. This indicates that you don't live next to a body of water. True? False?

And whatcho mouth, boy. This girl w/ a "toothpick" has beaten thirty year old men in fencing. Razz

Shut the phuk up all of you. I would kick all of your asses with a bloody swiss army knife. Kendo is SO much better than fencing. Oh and I have been white water rafting. Its neither an adrenalin rush or scary.
