Stolen Sprite?

99% of the sprites on FAC are stolen. . . . .

Note that, with the exception of a few pixels on his face, only standard MS Paint colors were used. Its color depth is too large for an 8-bit sprite (i.e. NES or GBC), because the NES and GBC hardware only supports four colors per sprite (plus transparency, however, two of the colors were generally mapped to black and white, leaving only two "real" colors left to work with), but 16-bit sprites (i.e. SNES and GBA) are generally much higher resolution (128x128) and color quality (256 colors) than this one is (35x32 and about 16 colors).

In short, it's too good for a GBC sprite, but not good (nor large) enough for an SNES/GBA sprite. If I had to guess, I'd side with this one being legit. But we can keep looking, yes?

Right now, this is the only site I can think of with game sprites (but its images weren't coming in at all, suspect a server down)

crud, I wish I had one of those fancy games screenshot thingies. I have that game!! Now if I could just get a screenshot we could compare it ><

To tell you the truth it doesn't look like a sprite it looks like space man from a game off www.miniclip.com that spacy one that you jump up and down on and try not to fall of...thats what i thought of when i saw it...but it does look fishy

This is another bunch of stolen sprites, the artist stated in his description "if anyone notices that these are their sprites then my true cred to em (sorry i used em wihout asking! Iluv u guys dont sue me!)" So for some reason i think they are stolen... <_<
