I didn't care at first, I never saw the originals, and didn't care to. Always was a Godzilla man, but after seeing alot of the previews and hearing stuff about the movie. Like one particular part I heard on a radio show I like. Arty (the guy) said one part that was cut in the originals had Kong do something with a tree or log or something, and it sent a bounch of people falling to their doom. In the cut, they fell into a pit of giant spiders, and was eaten by them. In the new movie, I guess, they put it in.

That, and some of these Dino battles I've been seeing, have peeked my intrest into this version of the movie. So mostly likely rent it when its on DVD. I can't stand Theaters any more, to pricy, and always seem to get stuck between several groups of annoying people.

Also, Jack Black intrested me to, cause I love some of those Tenacious D songs, and seen some SNL stuff that was funny.

They have been going nuts over that movie too, think radio is about the only place I haven't heard an add about it. That BK TV ad is funny though, with the Giant King.

^_^ P.J.'s producing it... Of course I'm gonna go see it! I've seen the previews and it looks really good. Though I'm limited on my trips to the theater and I couldn't figure out whether I wanted to go see Narnia or King Kong tomorrow so my b/f's choosing and he won't tell me which one it will be! But I will get out and see it eventually Cool And after LOTR.... I have high hopes for it. Hope it will be good Smile

I have a good feeling about the movie, and I might actually enjoy it, but as I said, probably won't be any time soon.

hehe I never thought I'd say I want to see a Kong movie, after all. I'm the guy who wanted to see Godzilla toss him like a bean bag. (still haven't seen that movie either, cause I know Godzilla's fait) Maybe they'll do a remake of that next, King Kong VS Godzilla, and to throw people way off, Gozilla just murtilizes Kong. Muhahahaha!..... ok I'll stop now.

Go Go Godzilla

It's a terrific film. I recommend it. Very sad, Naomi Watts does a good job. And Jack Black provided what he does best, though he was a tad more serious this time around. Adrian Brody is a fantastic actor...but I thought his role was a bit rushed. Just toss him in where he's supposed to be. Some of the shots were a bit annoying; the slow motion-ish scenes that are also seen in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

The action is magnificent, as are the FX. I actually went and bought the game after seeing it for my Xbox 360 Razz

I'm such a tool.

I'm off to watch Jurassic Park. I just had the urge to see that upon leaving the theater.

Its a good movie. Its really good but, ye gods, it was looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong! I mean i sat for 3 n a bit hours and watched it, wriggling and rustling.
Its funny but it needed to be shortened. Really, you'll be willing them to hurry and do something against that giant.
<_<

King Kong was most likely one of the best movies that I have seen all year. Long as heck, yes, but awesome nontheless if you are one of those who can sit through a movie that long. It was, well, touching as well. I have to admit that one of my friends and I cried in some parts of it when we saw it.
