A Google Bot...

I've noticed lately that a 'Googlebot' title keeps appearing in the 'members currently active' bar thing and I'm confused. Who's Googlebot is that and how is it logging into the forums...? I didn't even know bots [i]could[/i] get on a forum...

Googlebot is a menisfestation of all lost souls banned by the mods.

It lurks around, poses itself as a newbie and spams whereever it goes.

There are stories .... friends of a friend talking about how Googlebot keeps trying to post topics in certain areas of the forums.... :unsure:

Okay....what exactly is it doing on the forum? What CAN it do on the forums?

They read threads and match that thread with approporiate google advertisement.
