Last Exile

Another new one for me. And very unique. Although i haven't seen the whole anime series yet it is quite easily making it up my list to one of my favorites. All the characters are very well done. And done well enough to where one can be the annoying, and although get the point across, they don't get under your skin as much as others. Your still able to enjoy them instead. The character personalities and their designs were all done very well.

But there's something else i find very enjoyable about thise anime that i very rarely do. And that's the music in it. Both the beginning and ending theme's are both very well done and the scenes that go with there are satisfying as well. And not only that, but the music inbetween as well.

Once again though, this is another anime that i've hardly heard a single word about before. Even from those with respectable taste of things that aren't always so mainstream.

I only watched few first episodes, than I got sick and didn't go back to the Anime club at the university right in my neighborhood. I really like the art though, Range Murata, the lead designer for Gonzo.

I have the scans for artbook/fan book Does anyone want it? >_>

And i agree on the artwork. It's very nice. I like how it's clean to. The faces are done more rounder than other animes but i like it, especially on the fact they didn't go into making them look like chubby little children in doing so. A nice little thing. The chubby little children factor tends to annoy me Rolling eyes

I got the 4th disk in today but it had the 5th disk inside the 4th disk sleeve <_< The last jerk who got it must have had the 5th at the same time of sending it out and got them mixed up. What an ass, now it's going to have to be sent back and new one sent out. I tried watching the 5th disc any how as well and it turns out the last person who had it must have scratched it somewhere on it because the middle goes all wacko. Tried cleaning it and all but it just wouldn't go. So i made sure not to delete it from my netflix list because i missed a good portion of it <_< That's two discs i have to have sent again to me because of stupid crap. So annoying. Sad

I don't usually take any interest in anime OSTs because the BGM is usually quite forgettable. However, I have both of the Last Exile OSTs, and I like them a lot. Hehe, I think the only anime OSTs I have are Noir, .hack//SIGN, Naruto, and Last Exile.

The series was pretty good, but I must say that the last episode was very WTF-able. Kind of a disappointment, really.
