Look, im a LAZY, *******. I know you may find it FUN to bash people as descretly as possible, now I know I get things wrong (very, very, VERY) often and im THE most forgetfull person on the planet (and the most sensative), and when i get things wrong around here you like to "remind me", that is not a bad thing, but the way people (no names here, its mainly my fault) do it, its just unreal (not every one), cant people just rimind me in a somewhat civil maner, i meen, you dont like to be bossed around as much as i do, so when you remind me of ANYTHING (even my name), is a please and thank you too much to ask. Its rather "unwelcoming" to ANY "noob", to be (not bashed, its a completly different thing to NOTICABLE bashing) ordered like a zoo animal in a circus.
If you want to know why I made this its because I want a reply to it, you vews on this OR somthing to do with treeting others.
Can I be breaking rules here? Yes I have read the rules, but like i said, im forgetfull, so jsut to let you know i read the rules (befor writing this).
I know im not breaking any, Im not spaming, Writing in short hand abusing anyone (im not doing this for its aimed at know one), i havent over used smileys as they are comical and this is serious, im not being rude, just stern (I tree others how others treet me, and if this stops others, it will stop me), im not dubble posting and im not posting in the wrong place, this is a general discussion, hence the name of the place im posting it. _________________ |

^ The Owls fail, get a new meme.
Post more coherent stuff in various discussion forums. I don't know who you are, and I don't know how people act toward you, but probably posting a bit more would gain a few peoples' approval, and not get bashed.
Or did you just get a warn and freak out over it?

Hmm, thanx for the advice, ill take that in mind. If anyone does not know why i started this topic, its not because i get bashed, im sencative or i got i warning (which i know i will somtime, [its from past experiances]), its because im concerned for the next new people, if being the voice for the small people is a crime, then im guilty. _________________ |

ok im going to be nice ^^
This is the millionth post like this. The amount of times ive had to be the peace maker is anoying. If you keep making mistakes then people get annoyed, its when they tell someone over and over again not to spam or other things they snap and have a go. Try not to make mistakes, check before posting so that you dont get into trouble and read the rules properly. Thankyou for your time! |

It's not just that you do mistakes. Everybody does them.
It's that you're doing them in such an obvious, overblown way that it is plain to see you never made the slightest effort to read FAQs and guidelines, much less quietly observe for a moment how things work around there.
Stupid analogy: someone walks in a restaurant. Everything goes fine until his cell phone rings. He answers but get dirty looks. Eventually, someone taps him on the shoulder to ask him to hang up and he does.
Another person walks in the same restaurant. No, wait: another person runs in the same restaurant, yells "OH MY GOD I'M CRAVING LASAGNA!" (despite the place being a Thai restaurant), strolls past the "please wait for the waiter to assign you a seat" sign, picks a random table, randomly interrupts discussions of people on nearby tables with off-topic comments. Then, his cell phone rings. This person is going to catch hell. The offense is the same, but this person made no effort from the get-go to fit in the place, hence this person will catch hell. |

Hmm, corect, but still manegment would ask him to calm down in the same manor they did with the other guy, its not what people say to people (like me), its the way they say it.
e.g. you relex at the cinema and without realising you put your feet on the chair of the person infront they will either say:
"OI, YOU SOME PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO WATCH A FILM, YOU DO THAT AGAIN AND IM CALLING STAFF"
or
" excuse me, would you please stop putting your feet on my chair?" _________________ |

Management will. It's their job. Mods here do. Other customers (other FAC users) might not.
e.g. you relex at the cinema and without realising you put your feet on the chair of the person infront they will either say:
"OI, YOU SOME PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO WATCH A FILM, YOU DO THAT AGAIN AND IM CALLING STAFF"
or
" excuse me, would you please stop putting your feet on my chair?"
For the analogy to be exact, you'd have to kick their chair, spill your drink on their shoulder, shout at the screen and loudly answer your cell phone.
What you've done here is comparable to poking someone with a stick. Once, it's ok. Twice, it's a friendly warning. Three times, it's annoying. After the twelth time or so, the cumulative effect of all those pokes kick in.
I saw on another thread that you are in school. Then you know how it is: someone is made fun of. Once. Twice. Three times. 10 times. On the 20th time, this person blows up, and the joker retorts "gee, calm down, it's only a joke!" But it's not a reaction to this particular joke: it's a reaction to all those jokes that have piled up.
Seriously now, if you want people to get off your back, the best thing you could do is to shut up for a while. Let people forget about you. Read the FAQs. Observe what is considered appropriate behavior and what is not. Then, once the smoke has cleared some, start posting again using the knowledge you just gained. |

When I said do not double post I didn't do it in a mean way at all. It's my job to welcome and mention the things.
The newbies shouldn't have so much a problem since only brand new members and selected people can go in the Sandbox. While in the Sandbox you learn roughly the way of following guidelines.
Sadly some people outside the area just ain't so nice and some just don't mean what they say, like joking about everything.
And if someones calling you a noob then they're just not using the word right. It's more for people thats been here a while and yet still spamming and breaking rules and whatever. _________________ http://www.fanart-central.net/profile-Kes.php- Profile.

Kes is right a lot of members get annoyed at newbies [not me i'm easy going ], but one of the reasons they did was because you where posting some topic about loving something or someone called Hina  everywhere
some members get annoyed too easily in my opinion but both partys did thing wrong on this occasion [well thats what i feel ]

From what I understand of this, it seems like you're just trying to get a sense of what the FAC forum community is like, how people respond, and how we function.
There are three types of members here on FAC.
1) members who post a few times and never come back, usually because they don't have the same interests or mentality of the forum regulars
2) members who are forced out due to suspension or ban, usually becasue they constantly flamed others or had purpously broken the rules too often
3) members who hang out for a while, get to know everyone, and are soon accepted as a member of the FAC family
I'm assuming you wish to become one of the latter. It's easy to fit in if you use good judgement (meaning no "let's chat" threads"), but don't take us too seriously, either. We have rules (such as no double posting) and all show common courtesy (such as using full words and sentances), but no one is going to go all balistic if you make a mistake here or there. It's only the people who have a history of not following the rules that become annoying.
FAC is mostly made up of people who love creating art, looking at art, or love anime, and the forum is the same but with a few extra oddballs thrown in here and there. Get to know the regulars and you'll soon understand every inside joke and start refering to everyone by their first names. _________________ |

People who've been around for a while and have proven to be good sports can get away with more.
Stupid analogy: your friend calls you a "dirty f*ck". You'll probably laugh. A complete stranger walks up to you and call you a "dirty f*ck". You'll be annoyed, or at least rather creeped out. Same thing here.
So start by establishing yourself as someone likeable. That means no more raining of random posts in random forums, actually remaining on topic in the appropriate forums, reading the FAQs, and so on and so forth. Then you'll be able to get away with a little more. |

This is a thread for analogies out the wazoo, apparently.
Anyway...
Some people are rude and others are not. Even if you're "forgetful" of the rules, you're still breaking them regardless. Just because someone forgot that killing people is bad doesn't make it acceptable if they do it. This isn't an attack and if you consider it to be one, then you're far too sensitive. I can be a sensitive person myself, don't get me wrong, but there is being too sensitive. Some of the replies to your other posts didn't seem very aggressive, they were simply stating what you were doing wrong. |

You can never have too many analogies. It's a little like chocolate chips on an ice cream cone: you can't really have too much, there is still all the yummy ice cream in the middle. Plus, if there are too many, the chips will just bounce off the other chips and fall on the floor, so there is a self-regulating process going on. Same thing with analogies. :woot:
Though I'll take chocolate chips over analogies any day. |

Ok, thats done now, im clear. Still on the topic of fairness though, in the music section i made something called song2, i cant understand why that was locked, and on the tv section i posted 2 topics, they were both on manga tv shows but they were locked, i was told to post them in anime but they were equally tv as what they were anime, weres the fairness in that then, what did i do wrong. _________________ |

Because the rule is that Anime stuff is to be posted in the Anime section. Period.
You weren't banned for it. I doubt you were even handed a warning for it. Your thread was closed and you were pointed to where it belongs. You are not a victim, so you can stop acting like one. |
