The ones I currently own are Frontline and Rising Sun.
I don't really care what anyone says, Rising Sun may not be so good in the Single Player Campagin, but when you do Multiplayer, it's just one big party.
Frontline does better (Also in terms of length) in Single Player Campaign, but sadly, it doesn't support Multiplayer.
European Assault, which I don't own yet, has Multiplayer, but I'm shocked that it didn't have online. Rising Sun had online, so why not that one too? I don't think they felt confident enough when they were doing that, so... yeah.
What are your thoughts on this series? _________________ I speak only at the most opportune of moments. |

i like the MoH series... i have rising sun (which ain't too good in my opinion.. it's just too damn short... but it does have some good levels)
i have European assault (which is just a smudge better... it too is too short imo, but it has a fun little multiplayer and again some good levels
but i guess alied assault is my favorite... just cause it has the most levels out of the ones i've played.. so it kept me going the longest |

I've played medal of honour rising sun, but I completed it within a school week (Thats about 10-20 minutes of gaming a day) and because of that reason, I'm sticking with call of duty: Big red one. _________________ I came

Yes, that's the one problem with Medal of Honor.
Length. They need to fix that. Call of Duty 2: Big Red One? I have that, beat it, and found it a bit frusturating. Due to the fact that I always had to find cover. _________________ I speak only at the most opportune of moments. |

The only Medal of Honour game I played was Underground for the PS1. Pretty good for the time, and a no-bad splitscreen mode that was fun for a while. Only level I couldn't beat was the secret one with the dancing dogs with guns. That was just too hard, and creepy.
Haven't played any of the more recent ones though. Too busy playing Battlefield 2. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

I actually enjoyed the fact you had to find cover. I dsicovered that sometimes, the easiest way to flush out the enemy was to stay put, throw a smoke grenade (If I had any) and then go in guns blazing.
Anyway, going in guns blazing mnches througha mmo' like pringles at a party. I stick to cover and sniping, and believe me, it works like a charm. I too have beaten it. But I haven't actually beaten finest hour...And i'm not even going to go into detail as to why. _________________ I came

When I rush in, my team mates sometimes actually follow (Though I don't know why) and then it usually ends up being a blood bath covered suicide. _________________ I speak only at the most opportune of moments. |

That's what team-mates are for. Drawing the enemy fire. Well at least to me they are. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

Yes, that's what I usually used them for. *Devilish grin*
That's a problem with Call of Duty 2. You could use your team mates a little to easily, even on Hard mode. But when you just popped your head out, ever enemy was out for your head on a platter. _________________ I speak only at the most opportune of moments. |

Well that's the thing. It won't matter how many NPCs get killed. They want you.
But some games like SOCOM tried to make you protect them. You lose two teammates and it's mission failed. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

I've played SOCOM before, and found it a bit hard for my tastes. I'm still addicted to my World War FPS's, so don't try to change me!
About them wanting me... It makes me feel all special inside. _________________ I speak only at the most opportune of moments. |

I have'nt played SOCOM but i've seen it. Looks good.
Yeah well, your fellow comrades in arms just ask to get blown up. Especially when they just stand there an repeat commands and your thinking "What the F**k, if you're going to take me to the cursed tractor factory hurry up and go!"
All to tempting when oyu turn off the friendly fire blocker. _________________ I came

SOCOM isn't bad. There's a heavy demand for you using your team-mates in it, and this is best done through the use of a USB headset. You can use menus to give commands, but it can be a bit niggly at times.
Plus it's one of these games where sticking to your mission parameters is essential. Not allowed to be seen? They mean it. Protect the hostages? Better act like it's your nuts your guarding.
The big thing about it was that it was a big online game for the PS2. Whilst it did a pretty good job compared to a lot of other titles, it's still nothing compared to a good PC game. _________________ "You know what? Hm, I guess i should try that out. I was playing medal of honour rising sun with my friend, and half-way through a mission (Our first gun battle together, where you get your hands on the real guns) we look at eachother and our characters have the dumbest grins plastered across thier faces...And thats even with a machine gun blaring away in the background. _________________ I came
