All right, all right, I got it cause it was made by the creators of Star Ocean. ^^; ehe, go figure. But still, I like it a lot. The battle system isn't like Star Ocean's, but it's pretty fun to play around with. While the graphics aren't the best, the storyline progresses very...interestingly. You have to gather informations from everyone and solve puzzles and whatnot. The storyline, in the way it progresses, is different from the other games I've seen.
Anyways, I think the game is a lot of fun, and recommend it. anyone else already have it? |

I've been wanting to play it, but I'm waiting for the price to go down at game stop. XP _________________ "You can quote me on that." - Gray |

Well, I have to say, there is a lot to do in this game. I didn't know what to expect when I first got it, but I really recomend it now. The storyline is great, and you can recruit over 170 characters, not to mention the game splits off half-way and you can play two totally different storylines. ^_^ |

Yeah, you can kick almost anything, and you can engage in fights if you kick someone enough. Some of the lines they say after being defeated are pretty funny, but then if you get beaten, well then it's just usually sad, still funny though. |

Mmm, I didn't really like it. I loved Star Ocean, but Radiata Stories? I wanted to be able to play as different characters than just Jack. And I also kinda resented how most characters were just kind of stuck the way they were. I mean, you couldn't change their equipment or teach them better skills or anything. See, I always like to use the really weak characters in video games, and build them up until I can smash the game with them. Radiata Stories, you can't really do that without mega-leveling-up. But hey, if it works for you, then WHOO-HOO!!! _________________ Disgaea's Overlords Dance in Worlds Beyond Infinity while Mifuyus Magical Multiplying Mole reads the epic Chronicles of Yord, and you learn that your Craving for Finding a Heart of Snow is Taboo in VG unless you dare undertake The Combine of Sin... |

Well I know, but it's a rather interactive video game. They made it so every little character has a part if you want to recruit them. Also, think of it this way, would you really want to waste time (and money) buying better stuff for over 170 characters? I know I wouldn't. Anyways, if you ever beat the game and finish the bonus dungeon, you get Valkyrie, which could practically beat everyone up all on her own. |

No, not for 170. But for the three I wanted to use, I think it'd be fine. I mean, I was expecting it to be more like Suikoden, where part of the fun is just using different (and weirder) people each time around. Sigh. And the Suikodens are getting so bad lately... |

Well my party for most of the game was:
Aidan (his Training device nets you an extra 25% exp)
Elena (extra 20% dagols)
Gordon ('nother extra 20% dagols)
But after I beat the game I put Elwen, Nyx, and Valkyrie (I took the human side) and beat up everyone in my way.
Except the Ethereal Queen (hardest boss) Jack went down in like, 4 attacks.... |
