Saw them in concert w/ Linkin Park, Hoobastank, and SOTY. Yay for me.
Don't much care for 'em, but my favorite song by them would be Thinking About Forever off of the Satellite CD. _________________ 222.

I like Youth of the Nation the most. It's a good, real-world song. |

they sing "Youth of the Nation"? Actually if they do I have only heard that song. Very good. I heard it on on Weird Al's Polka on his cd. I downloaded it and that song is pretty good. |

I have a hard time distinguishing it between christain rock and metal. _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

Christian Metal, perhaps? *yak* They're purposely trying to confuse us so they can brainwash us. _________________ "I've got a sticky Darodo!"

I have a hard time distinguishing whether I want to shave the guy's head or strangle him with his own hair so he can't "sing" again. Such difficult choices. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

If you shave it, it'll grow back, *nods head*
Better to strangle him, a more permanent solution. If that's what you're aiming for ^_^ _________________ 222.

Very true. But either way I'd have to touch it. Looks dirty. Bleh. Sorry to everyone who digs that look, has that look, or whatever, but....bleh. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Meh, I don't mind his hair, long as he doesn't get near me with it.
Oh yeah, favorite POD song? Mines probably "Ghetto" It's quite a good song actually.

But I'm a sucker for pretty hair on a man, and bad hair makes me sad. But considering who he is, I can't be too sad. Not even interesting people. At least the Creed dude wandered around drunk. No road stories 'bout the pod guys (like I'd want to hear any, really). They're all faithful and shit. How dull. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Christian rock is such an oxymoron.
Rock n' roll: Sex, drugs, booze, leather...
Very Christian. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

And you see the tattoos all over them? Very religious....... One has a snake, the other has a black cross........... Another has a tattoo that says "Go to Hell"....... _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

P.O.D. isn't as 'christian' as many other christian rock bands. None of their songs actually directly talk about christianity and stuff. |

They haven't admitted to it, but they are very close to it. Even artists like creed have tattoos on their bodies. Some of which ain't Christain............ _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

That's because the instant you say you're a Christian band, you're guaranteed to fail. Because Christian bands don't sell if the mass public can tell you're singing about God. They aren't "cool" (and with good reason). Same reason Evanescence don't go around saying they're a Christian band. Creed does/did the same thing. All their songs could be taken two ways, depending on whether you wanted it to be religious or not.
Stryper sucked because of that.
I have nothin' against as many tats and piercings as they want to get, but if you're gonna look the part, act it as well. Just like messiah boy, Scott. If you're gonna stand up there and preach, don't roll around drunk on the stage. Pick one and go with it. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
