Project Runway Season 2

So here we are at the final three. I was going to put a prediction poll, but I want reasons.


We have Daniel V, Santino, and Chloe. An appropriate final 3 this time, unlike Wendy taking Austin's place just because what's her name chose Wendy's god awful feather dress and altered it to be unrecognizable.

The last challenge sucked. If you told Jay or Austin to make gowns expressing their lines, you'd have had some crazy ass pieces. That's the challenge Austin needed, being an evening wear designer anyway and Wendy being clueless.

But. Of the 3 who made it, who will win?


My vote goes to Daniel. Santino's line will be "creative", but his stuff is always so ugly. Chloe is timid and forgettable. I never remember a single thing she's made. Daniel, on the other hand, is creative and a pleasant human being. As opposed to the raging bitches like Santino and Wendy and that black lady from this season etc.

Unless Santino manages to pull something out of his ass that isn't covered in horrible trim. But Daniel is still better. It's a sign of Santino's design ability, given that he accidentally chose the exact same fabric Austin used last year, that the dress he made with it was absolutely hideous compared to the one Austin made. The man can't make pretty things.



So. Yes. Daniel V for teh win.

I agree, I definitely think Daniel will win. He probably has the best attitude out of the three. He wants to win and is ambitious, but he's not in your face about it like Santino is. People seem to like him more too. His designs aren't necessarily the best; for instance his evening dress was very basic, pretty but simple. But unlike Santino's clothes, Daniels designs look more wearable and comfortable.

Chloe's designs are also rather simple, but their still simple. She doesn't seem to want to win enough though. She said that being a designer isn't all it's cracked up to be and she doesn't want all the attention that winning would bring. Daniel does seem more interested in winning and I think he'll work harder to make his designs better. Chloe doesn't strike me as having the desire or the ability to do so, and Santino acts like he doesn't need to improve. So my guess is on Daniel to win, but Santino might win if he learns not to use so much trim.

Daniel's dress was simple, but his past designs have been far beyond Santino's as far as being creative and actually nice to look at. His garden party dress, the lingerie collection, etc.

None of the people have been as interesting as the first season personality-wise. Santino is the talented Wendy with Jay's weirdness. Andrae and Nick were less flamboyant, less talented Austins.


Daniel is...memorable but not all that special. But he's pretty, so I guess that's somethin'. The whole Daniel/Nick thing was odd, to say the least.
