Alright, our local rock station got pissed off at having to edit it's content because of the fuckin FCC, so it recommended a website that's fighting to get rid of censorship in radio.

Go to:
Save Radio Now

Sign up for e-mails giving you updates on the movement and sign the petition. If they get enough signatures, Congress will take notice and will take a more serious movement towards censorship. I know it sounds like a long shot, but if it works, we won't have to deal with s**t like this:

"Don't let any of those "edit" in my headspace"
or
"Lights out, Guerrilla Radio, turn that "platinum" up"

when they SHOULD be:

"Don't let any of those fuckers in my headspace"- Velvet Revolver
and
"Lights out, Guerrilla Radio, turn that s**t up"- Rage Against the Machine

So for those of you who are annoyed, pissed, and/or hate the editing in radio, go to the site and sign up. It's free, just like radio should be.

You can also foward the petition to your friends. When you've finished signing up, you'll get 2 e-mails. One will be a confirmation, the other will be a newsletter of sorts that offers to foward the petition to 3 of your friends.

That's why XM radio is the shit. Far superior to the normal radio in every way except price. Now if only I had the cash for it...

The radio stations around here suck ass, anyway. S'why I listen to online stations, if anything.

If they're successful, it might also get television to be allowed more violence, sex, language, drugs...............

You know, show real life instead of fucked up "reality" television.

ah man i used to hate all that edited crap on the radio. they'd screw up some of the best songs. and the whole censorship thing goes for dj's too, right? like what happened to howard stern... i don't listen to the radio anymore, so i'm not really affected by it now. like fallen said- online stations. internet radio=the shiz.
