Hajime No Ippo

I heard good things about the show, it's a boxing anime that's very popular in Japan.

Well, I know it WAS very popular. I think it's an early 90s production. The show ran for a while and I think a movie or two were made for it.

Anyone seen the show? What do you think about it?

manga hasn't ended yet, I'd only watch it if someone strapped me to the chair. I tend not to watch any anime with more than 6 episodes.

You better make exceptions for shows like Cowboy Bebop.

My limit is around 26. I noticed a lot of shows last that long and it seems like a good number.

50+ episode shows turn me off.
