hey all

who has seen samurai champloo and liked it and all. i love it. just seems like such a nice story about 3 travelers.

will mugen, jin, and fuu make it and fine the sunflower samurai. :o

I used to have the first volume of the manga saved on my comp. lost it though. But it's something I'd like to pick up again sometime soon.

But it looked really good, so hopefully I can get the rest played at my Uni anime society ^_^

I loved it. I've only seen the first 5 DVD's but my roomate/ex has the rest on his laptop. The version I've seen was the English dubbed and I love the choices for the voices. Can't beat using Spike's voice from Cowboy Bebop as Mugen. They are just so much alike (but I guess that's what you get when they have the same director Razz

). I also like how they used the voice of Brandon Heat from Gungrave as Jin's voice. They are also quite similar as characters.

I'm not really into it, the music them sucks all cock, but the show is alright, from the episodes I skimmed through.

yep that's right. i love it aswell or else i wouldn't of made this thread. i love the characters and such.

and the stories always seem like such nice episodes. like they actually hired good writers Surprised

I got my friend the first 2 discs. I love the show, the storyline carries well with all the little side-stories.

I love that show. The plot is great, the animation is wonderful... I love the art style. The character's are awsome. Mugen in my favorite. He's halarious... and reminds me alot of myself. WTF?

but my friend with messed it up by showing me a magazine with all the episodes... <_<

This anime is freakin sweet!! They did a great job on the fights and scenes.

I downed ( *whispers* please don't tell anyone else :ph34r: ) eps 1 and 2. I got kinda hooked and ordered the dvd box set being kinda cheep so I thought why not. I really like the characters and the story. I'm still waiting for the dvd's to arrive...

New show? o_O Samurai Champloo is 26 episodes long. Is there supposed to be more to it or something? Good series though - samurai and hip hop go surprisingly well together. And I'm very happy that everything more or less ties together and contributes to the storyline. Although, given that it's a story about 3 people travelling the length of Japan, I guess that gives the writers a lot of leeway with how the storyline goes.

I haven't seen a lot of episodes, but Samurai Champloo is awesome. Very good fight scenes and the artwork style is great.
