Which is another reason 99.9% of young people shouldn't be making records until they're older. You may think your high school poetry is brilliant, but go back and look at it when you're 25. There's an entire website devoted to bad teenage poetry. Razz

"I'm standing on the bridge, I'm waiting in the dark, I'm listening but there's no sound" is [i]not[/i] good writing, no matter how "deep" she thinks it is. Argh.

Besides, when she's 30, would she still be cool singing about a "sk8er boi"? Of course this is hypothetically speaking, considering there's not a chance in hell she'll even be remembered past a couple more years at most.

Even though I'm a bigger Avril fan than I am a Doors fan, I still voted for Jim. Why? He [i]is[/i] the better lyricist. Just because I enjoy something doesn't make it the best.

from now on why dont we just call these poll "another way to insult avril because other than that they serve no purpose." cmon lets see some polls that actually have a worthy contender.

You missed the thread that inspired these. He was responding to another thread where everyone was listing current MTV babies as the best bands, so he made these obviously uneven polls to see just how idiotic MTV fans are.

"Real polls" serve no purpose. I really don't care whether Randy Rhoads or Eddie Van Halen is the better guitarist. It gets stupid, especially when it ends up with 10 of them on the front page. The "____ or _____???" threads spread just as fast as the "____ appreciation!" threads.
