I know it sounds like it goes against the whole "Rock is rebellion" belief, but sometimes, metal will go overboard. Fallen's 100 Best Moments In Metal are okay, we live for that. I'm talking about pure stupidity.
Example:
Death metal band Hell On Earth promotes human sacrifice and in Jacksonville, Florida, during a promotion of human sacrifice, as well as doctor aided suicide, they had a mentally ill patient plunge a knife into his heart onstage while the guitarist performed a solo(a terrible one, might I add).
Supposing that people would become more idealistic towards the band and its ideas, lawsuits are now in order and Hell On Earth is fighting a losing battle.
Any ideas here? _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

Of course that's taking it overboard. I don't think anyone should be expected to take any music lyrics seriously, especially not with certain metal genres. Sure it's awesome to listen to but don't fucken recreate the s**t you hear. |

That band was screwed from the beginning. They went through about 4 bassists before they found one that agreed with their ideas.
And if you do take the lyrics seriously, you expect too much. Some of the bands sing about having sex 22 times a day. It's stupid.

I heard about that, actually. (Maybe 'cause I live there...) But I didn't really pay attention. I was like "oh look, more disturbed morons..."
I think it's sick. You could be the most screaming I-can't-understand-a-word-you're-saying with five of each instaments band in the world, and that's fine as long as you don't start doing human sacrifices. That's disgusting! _________________ 222.

Pretty bad when those two agree that what you're doing is sick. _________________ 222.
