they're used to identify forum mods, category cleaners, AP member etc. etc.

They don't really serve any other purpose than to tell people there are some AP members running around.

Also, they get a lot more attention because people click on their names more often. 8D

ah but you forget, only the real weirdos let that boggle them. so the attention isnt all that worth it. EN1X is in red too, she is faved 18 times, guess how many pics she has up.
