Little dilema I have here. The 1978 version of The Amittyville Horror has been playing a lot this week and it seems like I've seen that movie everyday for the past six days. And I get scared and like paranoid everytime I watched it.

The question: Am I like crazy to think that this movie is scary? I know that the special effects are very corney and old-fashioned but the whole idea of an absolute evil taking over just creeps me out. Is that like crazy to think?

My boyfriend keeps teasing me about needing him to talk to me on the phone while I go into the basement alone at night. Yeah, its silly but I need my security.

So do any of you have those guilty scary movies that you don't want to admit scare you but they secretely cause you bladder failure every time you watch it?

Don't worry, I'll try not to laugh. Smile

You'll try but I think you'll fail. :(

The Grudge (American Remake). Granted, the plot was nonexistant, granted that I am a wimp and hate scary movies...but it really scared the crap outta me. I hated the part when she came under the girl's bed, and I HATED the beginning. For a few hours afterwards (I dunno, one, two, three in the morning?) I was just scared stiff.

Me and scary movies? Never meant to be.

Ring kept me awake all night after watching it. The worst part was I watched it first thing in the morning that day. Sad

The Ring is the only movie that has ever scared me. I saw this at the theater and it made my skin crawl. It really blew my mind. Other horror movies, I find more funny than anything else. The Blair Witch project was almost laughable. People told me it was really scary but the acting was so bad I couldn't believe any of it.

Did you see the recent Ring or the Japanese original? I saw the original, and the sequal was pretty creepy as well. Never watched the 3rd one though. After having the crap scared out me twice that night I wasn't waiting for a third time round.

No, I've never seen the second one or the japanese version. They just didn't look as good to me.

I don't understand why you would watch it again if it scares you so much, Sixx.

Child's Play 2 has been haunting me since I was four. Luckely it doesn't anymore.
