Breakthrough!
Using AIM, I used the "Insert Sound/Image file" feature and successfully sent samples of my talent with my guitar. During the process, my friends, and some enemies, commented that they thought it was really good, so when I offered to make a homemade C.D of my recordings, I instantly got about 12 requests!! 50 cents each!! It's a small start, but small popularity still means you're popular somehow.
They like me........they really like me.........
If anyone else has made recordings of themselves playing guitar, singing, even drums, I would like to know that if you have a C.D, how much do they sell for? Including homemade ones.

One hundred billion dollars.... (/Dr. Evil voice)

Nah, we have a new Protech building that includes a pretty nice sound booth, and the teacher whose room it is offered to let Josh n' I use it whenever we wanted to record lame covers, but...we're both really lazy. Rolling eyes And we'd need to find someone who would devote some time to teaching us all the stupid soundboards. Ah well, maybe some other time.

Congrats on gettin' some interest, though! Maybe we're all in the cyber presence of the next Eddie Van Halen...

No..... I'm a member of Fanart Central and Deviant Art, but that's it.
Check out our website. We need the hits and it isn't too bad for a 4 day old site.

I've been making scratch recordings using sound recorder and a microphone. No vocals. The real purpose is to hear myself and improve, then post the work to see if others like it. If they do, I'll add on to the selection and write vocals.
It'll be a long while before our drum sets come in, so Mike(our bassist) and I are kind of solo right now. Orange Julius is annoyed with the delay.
I made one C.D and it was one scratch recording of an original composition and 2 Nirvana "covers"(no vocals, just guitar).
When I get more C.Ds and material, I'll sell C.Ds for 50 cents each.

Orange Julius smashed them. It'd be awesome if he did it onstage, but he did it during practice.

If I can. Might make a small profit out of 'em. Wink

Like I said, we have audio samples on the site, just minute long ones, though, and since it's scratch, it has some improvisation in it.
