hey all

i was just pondering the other day that alot of its regular anime's are starting to finsih rather quickly.

i mean first it was DBZ and then GT.

then a few small others,

then lately samurai champloo ended along with fullmetal alchemist. :(

soon yu yu hakusho will end too only one more episode left :(

then the enivitable will also happen when INUYASHA will end. its getting there, all :(

what will they do when all the anime's are gone :mellow:

shed some light on us toonami and adult swim. oh god of afternoon television. Banghead

....There are new things coming out all the time. There'll never be a shortage of anime to bring to AS.

And of course Inuyasha will end. If Takahashi doesn't end it willingly it'll end when she dies.

I've herd a new anime will replace FMA it has simmiler art style. I don't forgot what the story line was but I thought I would like it. so thats a good thing.

THough adult swim needs more anime as is. thats the only good part about it.

Actually, Inuyasha ended already in Japan. :v Though if I'm not mistaken they left it pretty open ended. Probably going to release several more movies, ect ect.

Though on the topic of Adult Swim, I've noticed they've had alot of success showing Short Movies and OVAs (I heard they got [i]Kakurenbo[/i] late last year). I think if they keep showing cool things like that, they won't go anywhere. Also, like I said before. EUREKA SEVEN~~~ <3 Renton's probably going to sound 500 times more dorky. XD

There are LOTS Of other animes out there. Japan didn't stop producing them. Plus I'm sure AS will continue to run reruns into the ground, like they do with Bebop and Trigun.

AS does tend to over kill shows. especialy if its not a good show. aka (non anime) like exactly how long can they expect ppl to tolorate ATHF.

In my area anime is starting to go down. We don't have Adult Swim but do have Toonami. Sadly Toonami has taken vertually all anime off Sad

I don't think they'll be a worry for the USA though, theres thousands that can replace them and can be just as interesting. As long as your channels don't get to my Toonami's state

I heard they would be putting Bleach on Adult Swim sometime soon. I'm kinda afraid to watch it, though. I've watched about 70 episodes in japanese already..... Uneasy

It might suck dubbed.

I barely watch Adult Swim anymore...I'm either too tired or I forget. I'll catch a couple shows in the beginning and some Saturdays I'll try to catch some FMA, but man.... school KILLS my anime watching. Sad

Sure japan never stops making anime but how many do you think will make it across seas we're not even including the ones shredded to pieces on the way over. This kind of reminds me of when my delivery man shreds up my pakage before it gets to me. Totaly bites.

I never like AHTF either it so danm annoying I just switch the channel to wait for Inuyasha to come on. :angry:

As for Anime they cut out the good parts out before they come to us in the US which really bites <_<

To anyone in this thread who has said "THE WORLD IS RUNNING OUT OF ANIMAY!!": It's not. Adult Swim bearly even shows 1 percent of all anime out there. :/ That's pretty fucking obvious. New stuff is being made every day, ect ect. You're all dumbfucks for thinking that Adult Swim shows everything ever made. Ect ect. Fale.

Does anyone else see the irony of an Inuyasha fan saying something sucks?

@ Infuerno - ATHF has a plotline? :huh: The show isn't about plot or animation. It's abot being funny as all hell. Which it does very, very well.

@ Avy- With any luck, Immortal Rain will get animated some day. And with even more luck, it will be animated well. Smile

Here's the deal. There are lots of companies that license anime. Some of them cater mainly to the audience that watches programs like AS (Geneon, Funimation, Bandai, ADV, amont others). Cartoon Network is in direct contact with all these groups, and when a hot anime that fits the format of AS gets licensed by one of these companies, they work out a contract and start showing the anime. If it gets good ratings, it keeps showing there for as long as they can milk it.
