Does anyone still play the ol' Sega Genisis besides me?

. Yeah I still have my Genesis. I play x-men 1 & 2 on it. I think they still have yet to make a better xmen game... than those ones. I haven't busted out the system since I got a hacked xbox though. Cause I've got over 150 genesis games on that > Smile

I'm a sega fan boy... for sure. Still have my saturn, and dreamcast too.

I never had a sega megadrive [or Genesis to yo] I used to play it at my friends aswell though. The Streets of Rage games were the best, we completed them all Cool

I also like the X-Men game, can't remember which one it was though. I always played as Beast or Wolverine. Golden Axe was great too, I wanted to be the dwarf but i always had to by the gay dude or the weak bitch <_<

I'd buy one if they were still sellin' them

I threw my Mega Drive out a long time ago as well. . . . .

The big game for it to me was Sonic 2 though. Good times.... ^_^

I used to love my Mega Drive, still have it somewhere, prob right next to my N64. Love that Streets Of Rage and still do.

oooohhh, the old megadrive 2, aaaahhhh my first game, sonic2, i also still remember the cheat to unlock all levels on sonic one! x-men 2 clone wars, i havent played that in a number of years (i could never get past that level after unlocking magneto Sad

), bubsy (that was wierd), street fighter 2 that was a tough game, strange how i found it easier on the Amega? though that wasnt all my games, the last one to mention Bruce lee:yeah of the dragon that was one tough cookie!

I played and beat Sonic 2... killing Robotnik's huge mecha without taking a hit? Talk about endurance. Couldn't beat it as Knuckles (using Sonic & Knuckles) though.

Sega fans will really like this though: News is that Sega has signed on to release Genesis games for the Revolution's "virtual console".

Sega-exclusive titles on a Nintendo platform? Hell has officially frozen over.

Yeah I've read about this. The Revolution will really thrive with it's back catelog. But I'm still waiting to hear about what will be in it's future titles. I'm waiting to see what the companies show at E3. With Sony and Nintendo getting ready for the next gen, it'll be a very important show. Let's hope nintendo doesn't completely botch it and just show off Twilight Princess.

Sega fans have already had the hardest blows with the saturn and the dreamcast bowing out. I'm just happy Sega is finally making some profit. Unfortunately it's as a third party developer/publisher.

Only Legend of Zelda:TP is as yet confirmed (@IGN.com) to show at this year's E3. Other launch (or near-launch) titles may likely include a Metroid Prime 3, new online Super Smash Bros... maybe a new Pikmin?

But back to Sega.

(randomly) I heard that the NiGHTS character is an unlockable in Sonic Riders.

Metroid prime is what I'd want to get the system for. So hopefully they will show something on it.

As for Sonc riders, yeah the nights character is on there, and so isn't Ulala.
