Yes. Looking forward to this movie. Also scaring myself shitless with the games right now as I prepair for the movie debut. As a person who scares rather easily, I have to play these things in small increments not give myself a goddamned heart attack. My roommates told me they should just put a camera in my room to record me, as I was yelping a screaming as I played for about two hours last evening. Some obceneties I yelled out in terror while playing include but are not limited to (i know these b/c my roommates wrote them down):

"Jesus hairy back shaving!!"

"Communist God-fucking ass-bite!"

"Cock a fuck!"

"Anal Jesus sock!"

"Fuck a kitten!"

Strangely enough, I wasn't scared by Silent Hill nearly as much as Resident Evil. I think it may be because a lead pipe doesn't run out of bullets in the middle of a crowd of zombies and leave you defenseless.


That said, movie with Pyramid Head= Instant Squiddly love.

Fighting the goddamned monsters wasn't nearly as scary as when I [i]wasn't [/i]fighting them. When I was bashing at a zombie with the 4x4, I was releasing all the pent up tension the game was laying on me. It was when I was walking down a dark corridor or through some creepy room with nothing but my little flashlight for company, those were the moments that got to me. Because there was no sound but my own footsteps. Nothing. I was all alone. Always just [i]waiting [/i]for someting to happen. And when it never does, that tension just builds up on me until I'm jumpier than a strung out cat. <_<

I just trusted in the all-knowing radio. And when it flared up I tracked down and murderized EVERYTHING. I am queen of Zombie Genocide.

The only parts that strung me out were the ones where everything was statciy so the radio didn't work.

Oh, and that one batroom in the prison where it sounds like something is busting through the wall as soon as you leave... but there's really nothing and it's just a sound effect.

man, i want to play the games now that i've seen the trailer. i doubt any survival horror game will get me like resident evil, but still, looks good.

I remember playing the first one[i think it was the first one anyway] when i was 10. I remember walking down a dark path because someone took the guys little sister or something and then i saw this caf, so i ran in looking for weapons or something and then this big f**k off thing came flying in through the window, i almost shat the course. I never played it after that ^_^

I loved the games, but never got scared by them. They did get me high-strung though.

First time I heard there was a movie coming for it. Ain't played the games but if the movie is like the Resident Evil one I'll like it. I knew there was a movie for Alone in the dark and 2 for the Resident Evil, going to have to go and watch it when it comes out.

That movie was god-aweful, mostley because it had Tara Reid in it. I hate this actress to much.

Never played Silent Hill. I thought it was a game though...

I might or might not see it. I'm such a wimp when it comes to scary movies. I never scream, but I damn well come close.

Resident Evil was good, surprisingly. Usually Zombie flicks just make me giggle.

I went to see it today. Never realised it only takes 10 mins to walk to the cinema, so was left with ages to go. No shops open nearby either, so that was that out of the window.

Good film though. Wasn't even one jump out of your seat moment, but made good viewing. Some of the camera work was nice. Incidently, most of it was the wire-mesh maze scene, which came straight from the game, but what the hey. ^_^

Monsters were pretty cool. Thought the nurses were great. Like watching a group of mime artists with knifes.

Best bit to me was the front of the church scene. I'm shallow.

Saw it yesterday. It was actually pretty good, though I personally don't believe it was worth the 18A rating it was given. :|

I also wasn't too impressed when they infospammed the basic plot at the end through Alessa. :|

The music was nice, although it's certainly more suiting to a video game than a movie. :X

The zombie nurses were hot.
