Note: Please before you through caution to the wind, this is not the same trailer they showed at E3. I do know that the song's name is "The Devil's Cry", so don't bother pointing that out for me. Also, don't go searching the internet for it. I've already done that, and there were 1 or 2 that were half-right at best.
I kinda-sorta have a link for you to go on, but you'll have to pick the 7th from the top (DMC3 2nd official trailer).
It is at http://www.gamespot.com/search.html?qs=Dev...20May%20Cry%203

So, does anyone know the lyrics?

I've seen no songs from DMC3 named "The Devil's Cry", but the closest one to that is "Devils Never Cry". The trailer I found had "Devine Hate" as its soundtrack, though.

Lyrics are here. They have every song in the game and they're mostly accurate. Good luck hunting.

Thank you for the the lyrics, but that is not the correct song. It is undeniable that the 2 songs "The Devil's Cry", and "Devils Never Cry" are similar, but they are not the exact same song. It is my guess that "Devils Never Cry" is a remix, and "the Devil's Cry" is the original. If nothing else, the "clear voice lyrics" are similar...give or take a few words (such as night and light). Also, Under closer inspection, I believe "Devine Hate" is the first demonic part.

P.S: Nice try though, but if you want to know where in the game that song is, it's the default song that plays like a screensaver when you just leave the game at the title screen for a few minutes. It was also on G4's Cinematech.

So very sorry for double posting, but from that link you gave me, I was able to find enough parts of songs to fully assemble the entire lyrics to "The Devil's Cry".

I did say mostly accurate. However since "Devil's Never Cry" is the original and "The Devil's Cry" must be the remake since it's a mix between DNC and Devine Hate. It doesn't matter though.

I dun get G4 here, so I'm lost on that part, but I've never left the game paused for a few minutes while I was there. I've done the overnight pause, but I turn off the TV when I do that. Hmmm, interesting.

Glad I could be of help!

However, Chronologically within the game itself these come in this order: The Devil's Cry, then Divine Hate, and finally Devil's Never Cry.
Besides, why would Capcom put a remix on Cinematec before the game came out? My guess is that they made The Devil's Cry first, thought the first part would make a good fight song, so they copy & pasted it into the lesser demons fight sequence. Then they had only a small amount of time before the release, so they composed only half a song and copy & pasted the clean voice into it . Then agian, they did use Devil's Never Cry for that year's E3, so I guess they really didn't want people to know just which was the original, and which was the remix. Capcom is tricky that way...I guess.
