I think it would have to be, seeing how Princess Mononoke is an anime . .. and rather serious for a picture book. O.O Blood and guts flying everywhere . .. I don't think little kids would like to see that. XD

Yeah, it's a good idea as long as all the blood and death and devistation stays out of the way. Kinda grusome for kids. Uneasy

I don't believe there is a manga. There is however a artbook for it containing concept arts and other official arts. (The guy who made it, I can't recall the name at the moment, usually has an artbook out for many of his movies. Thee are ones for Spirited Away and Howl's moving castle)

There is also a I believe a one volume 'cine' manga for it. Which basically chops up screencaps from the movie into panels and adds speach bubbles. nothing new in them, and kinda a waste of money if you actually have the movie.

Thanks for the info. Here I was getting excited over nothing. I wish they'd stop selling bits of pieces of things we've all seen. I'm not that easy to trick into buying things I already have. Razz

You'd actually be surprised at how often I see people buying those damn animanga at my local Borders. It's pretty pathetic, actually. Especially for things like InuYasha that already have a manga. :/ OWOW NOW I CAN READ THE FILLER EPISODES :000

Obsessed fans will do anything to have more of their favorite characters. Unfortunately the advertisement agency knows it too and puts together things like this. I'd like to say I wasn't fooled by it once but that would be a lie.
