Anyway, while it's still in music....

Are they really making a movie? I bet it's because they aren't as widely watched anymore. Family Guy and Adult Swim came and kicked it in the ass.

I don't hear much about the Simpsons anymore. I hope it's good and not cheezy. The Family Guy movie wasn't all that good, really. It had a lot of funny points, but I wasn't laughing the whole way.... Uneasy

I grew up watching the Simpsons, I hope the movie is good. I think there's going to alot more profanity in the movie than there is in the T.V. show....or that's what I heard.

Matt Goening has been saying for years that he won't make a Simpsons movie until he's sure they have a story that merits being told as a movie. Also until he's sure the crew can handle it, because he's said that he wants the same group of animators making the movie as does the series.

I figure if he sticks by those two standards the movie shouldn't be too bad.

I hope it means the end of the series. And I'm only saying this because I love the Simpsons (the classic episodes, anyways) and I hate how it has degraded into something far less intelligent.

Why wouldn't they make a live action version of the Simpsons. That would be so much better. They did it with the Flintstones and that movie was hugely popular. Who would play Homer though?

Yeah, I've seen that and he's a pretty good Homer, but big movies usually need leads with big names. An unknown actor probably wouldn't be a good idea for a big budget movie like this.

i think it was that one. i'm to lazy to check but i know it has a worlds record on that. and it won't be beaten anytime soon trust me Wink

That's the reason it's not a good idea.
They've run out of jokes. They've done so many episodes, that they just can't make any good ones, since they've taken all the good ideas up.

Also, I HATE that goddamn advertisement! It's on all the freaking time!

the movie will come out regardless

and if you watch the episodes they still got some fresh idea's.

sure i agree. it can't go on forever. but it will go for aslong as its creator and writer's do stuff for it.
