If you play more than one, choose your favourite, and you can just say what other instruments you play. I just put a list of popular instruments (well, kind of) and then categories in case people play ones I don't have down.

I'm a bassist baby!

But I can also play the keyboard/piano (whatever) drums, and guitar.

But in the band I'm in, I play the bass.

Alto Saxaphone (same)

I'm trying to...how do they say it...expand my horizons. Very Happy

Piano is primary, definetely, and then viola, but all of the above are fair game.

You can't do the E minor Penatonic Sclae on a bass. Suck a sexy scale....

Because it's fun to play loads of instruments, duh Razz

I play piano/keyboard, Glockenspiel (the only reason it's on the list), Irish Tenor Banjo, Guitarand tin whistle and recorder, but only because we had to learn them for school. I accompanied my cousin in her Junior cert music practical on piano, though. She plays flute.

Oh, I there are scales on Bass? and E minor is more metal and hard rock then blues. The BLUES SCALE is blues....

I didn't quite get that first bit, but for your information the E Minor Pentatonic Scale is often called as the blues scale, people just stray away from calling it that because of ideas of what a blues scale is and isn't.

It's an easy scale and very simple. That's why it is infact, actually found in many blues songs. It may just seem that it is found mostly in metal and rock because that is primarily what you listen to. =P[quote]Because it's fun to play loads of instruments, duh[/quote]

For some, yes, for others, no. It's all a matter of taste and "da brain." I mean I, for one, am definetely sticking with the piano, because it is my love, but I would like to try other instruments so that when I really start composing, I can understand what each instrument is playing.

And it's fun. :)

As for playing more than one intrument - I only play the bass really. Well, for a crowd anyways. Drums, guitar, and piano I usually only use when writing music/songs.

well, since me plays alot o differnt insturments, i would mostly put piano. i also play sax, violin, tin whistle, tromebone, and i wanna know a helluva lot more

Oh...heh. You remind me of my mom. She played Piano, Guitar, French Horn, Violin and so many others. She was going to be, like, one of those concert people.

But i'm not into that kinda stuff. In a rock band, there is you and the guitarist, the singer and the drummer (and occasionally multiples of each one). If everyone focuses on their respective instruments, and can play them well, they all come together to create awesome music.
