Favorite Game Commercials

Since putting this in the TV/Movie section would be too broad and I didn't see a thread like this before..I made one! :D

Now, there are good Commercials, and bad ones. Generally they disrupt whatever you're watching, but some of them you just love to see, and some of them you wish would explode along with the creator's television set. The same applies to game commercials.

Tell your favorites here, and let me make this clear: NO LISTS. Please have a small explination by what you list.

As for my favorite and least, I loved the commercial for [i]Super Mario Advanced 3[/i], you know.. with the japanese kids running down the street, falling into manholes and jumping over obsticles? I thought that was beautifully executed and the music hypnotising. I think it was money(ALOT, no doubt) well spent on behalf of Nintendo's advertising.

My least is the US Commercial ((Not sure if it's the same as the JP version, dislike the song in both languages nonetheless.)) for [i]Kingdom Hearts 2[/i]. The song annoys me and the only thing that brushes the hair of my interest is the half a second of Tron footage.

I liked the commercials for the Ratchet and Clank games, where thay would show people using Ratchet's weapons in real life. My personal favorite was when this kid used the Decoy Glove and put a decoy of himself on a riding lawnmower which then drove out into traffic and was hit by a car. Laughing

And his parents were like: "AAAAAAAAAAA!"

For me it has to be the Tekken 4 ad. There's an old man speaking in a upper-class English accent and reading a book. Then he turns to the camera says says stuff like

"Hello there Law. I know you didn't like the outcome the last time we met, so now that tekken 4's here I can put my hands all round you again. Yes, I bet it makes you shake like a little girl."

*pause*

[b][i]"I'm going to pile-drive you right into the ground! Freak! I'm going to hurt you!"[/i][/b]

The Mario Kart DS advert made my laugh everytime. It was advertising the wi-fi function, and a man on the toilet was connecting to wi-fi and was suddenly zomming along like he was racing, through the streets, along with a guy half way through a hair cut.

The teaser trailer for Halo 3 is most stupendous. I love, love, LOVE the score they use and it gives a nice sense of foreboding and wonder. A perfect set up for the final installment.
