I used to use it and it was very useful for getting what I needed, but I don't use it anymore as I rarely download stuff. It is good though. : ) |

I've never used it. Odds are that any song I want will be on a torrent, and if that fails me, then there's an extremely high chance it's for ddl on some chinese site out there (probably a forum... ogod ;^; ). |

I heard that some of LimeWire's content contains spyware, viruses, and adware. I am not sure myself, I never downloaded it and I dont plan on it either. People say its alright though. |

I only download music during my spare time.I used it a lot last May just so I could get my favorite tunes on my MP3 player. I'm not using it much now though. My bro still downloads a lot of stuff from there.
But, now knowing that some files contain viruses and such, I'd better be careful from now on. My PC's already corrupted enough. |
I had limewire, and it was screwing up my computer...it tended to open up every ten seconds and try to download things. I deleted it twice before it was actually gone.
Sure that wasn't Kazza? That happened with our old pc and Kazza, but its never happened with Limewire for me. And I've uninstalled it many times. |

Limewire can often slow down a computer, I think it opened once for me when I didn't click it. Probably was a Trojan, lol.
Kazza is riddled. Viruses and spyware everywhere, IMO Limewire is safer _________________ |

It's not the PC they slow down. It's the Internet. If you want to play games wile your downloading, Go ahead. I don't really use Limewire. I just torrent things. |

Limewire, Kazaa and some Bittorrent clients do indirectly slow down the computer itself via adware, spyware, etc...
I used to use Limewire, but I switched to Frostwire which is a free, spy/adwareless clone of Limewire.
edit: reworded :P |

I've never heard of a torrent client containing spyware/adware.
The only reason it might slow it down is because some clients eat up the computer's resources like no tomorrow, especially if you're dling a lot of things. :\
I tend to stick with utorrent; it's small and you don 't need to install it to use it, hee. <3 |

I got my Photoshop from Limewire. In fact, Limewire is the safest P2P program you can have installed on your computer. Don't believe me? Just check out their Myspace page to find out just how safe, easy, and reliable Limewire can be:

There s the direct link. And don't forget to leave a comment or two =-) |
