Okay, I have an account, but I can't post my art! HOW do you do that?! Help! :wacko:

Do you know just how many times this question has been asked?

There's a reason why the "F" in FAQ stands for "frequently" ;)

For starters, go to http://www.fanart-central.net/ and log in with your username/pass.

Once you are logged in, there will be a button marked 'add picture'. Click on it. It will take you to a screen that asks how you want to upload the picture, whether through copying from a preexisting site, from your computer or by using a link to the picture. Select which option you want and follow the steps given. It's all easy to do. I hope that helps...if not refer to the FAQ...it's all in there. Wink

Now see, that's the exact thing my friend said! But my problem is, there's no 'ad picture' button! So now What?!

Let us get this straight: You click "Log In", enter your username/password, receive no error messages, but when you return to the main page it still has "Login" and "Register" at the top instead of "Add Picture" and "Edit Profile", is that right?

Many people have had this problem from time to time, we don't know why it happens but denis is looking into it. This question is asked frequently, and that's what the "F" in FAQ stands for. Read it for possible solutions.

Dude! I know what the F stands for! I've looked! IT'S NOT HELPING! You aren't either! NO ONE IS! So, pardon me, but GO TO HELL!

Charming. I do believe your question has been answered, mate. If you're logged in but still not able to see the "Add Picture" button, it happens from time to time and Denis is working on that bug. Not much we can do besides tell you that.

Johnny_Cade5, two few pieces of friendly advice for you:
1- Don't get mad at [i]us[/i] when we're just trying to help. If you do, some of us might decide to [i]not[/i] help you simply because of it, and you don't want that Wink

2- Tell us of the steps you've done already to try and address the problem. If you've already read the FAQ and other threads in this forum, PLEASE say so, that way we won't have to waste our time suggesting steps that you have already been through.

Now, moving on....
Just the other day my login cookie expired so I had to log in again, FAC gave me the login troubles. Funny thing though, when I restarted my browser (NS7), the problem went away and I was logged in again.

There is no magic pill to combat a bug. In the case of the login problem, just make sure that cookies are enabled, also try a manual page refresh, clearing out your browser cache, or restarting your browser.

Don't get mad at us if you've already tried the above and it didn't help any. If we knew exactly what the problem was, it would probably be fixed by now.

Okay, I'm sorry I blew up. I'm just super stressed. I've done everything y'all said, but none of it works. My grandfather said it might be from when I had to restart my compiter after the modem crashed, and we might have the security stuff to high. I'll try to login at my g-pa's.
