I find it more fun to laugh at the horrible cosplayers. ven though i may be cosplaying for a con in like 2 weeks... jeez i need to decide already..

I don't have a cosplay out fit and I've never been cosplaying before but I bet it would be kind of fun. Although I really coulden't pull off many anime characters...possibly Legato Bluesummer or Trunks but thats about it Sad

I'm a total cosplay noob. Only did it once so far - as Robin from "Witch Hunter Robin."

Next year I'm gonna go as Blindfolded Unknown/Riku from Deep Dive. The problem is, I have no idea how to go about it and it seems I'm going to have to make the whole damn costume from scratch. T_T

So much work!! *cries*

I don't cosplay, but I love to dress up. I go overboard every Halloween and do something stupid. Sometimes, I make costumes just to make them. It's fun, if not hell on my wallet.

So far, I've done...

Hawkgirl/Hawkwoman (two seperate costumes)

I'm trying to get together a G'Nort costume for ComiCon, and I've been throwing around the idea to really go all-out and make a Sammael (Hellboy) suit.

I'm a newbie at cosplay also...my first is going to be Rei from Evagelion ^^

if i ever cosplayed, i'd probably end up spending hours and hours on my costume. wouldn't want to look stupid ;)

but i doubt i'll ever cosplay

hm, cosplay could be fun, I never thought about it much. I'd probably do the same thing as Silver, and spend bogus amounts of time on my costume...but I don't like dressing up much.

I'm definately a cosplayer, and I've got a few friends that are kinda famous in the cosplay world. I try to stay out of the limelight. Let me warn you ALL.

Cosplayers = DRAMA

But it IS a lot of fun when you meet the right people, and it's always an ego-trip when people take your picture.

So, let's see. I've been cosplaying for 2 years *officially* though I had made costumes before in like...7th grade before knowing what cosplaying was.
I've done Miyu from Vampire Princess Miyu, Kagome (IY, der), Talim (Soul Calibur II), Lina Inverse (slayers), Sakura (KareKano), Rinoa (ff8), and Kagura (FruitsBasket).

O__o wow, that's a lot more than I thought.
Anyway, materials differ from costume to costume. At first, I used really cheap stuff and sale items cause I was a newb. But the better I get and the more confident I am in my sewing, the more I branch out into better more expensive materials that I know I won't screw up. So yeah.

It's so much fun ^^

I absolutely LOVE cosplaying i take it as a chance to show ur creativity/dedication to that certain thing that u are working hard on making a costume for/getting all the compliments and looking like that person u dressed up as. I am starting a EXTREMEMLY detailed Chi outfit for not the one im going to soon but the one after and im having my boyfriend be hideki and then im going to dress as Riku from KH. I have been Inuyasha and Lenne from FFX-2 so far. hopefully there will be more costumes to come :wub: I'm to lazy to go find a picture of my inuyasha costume sense its not scanned right now! i shall return Rolling eyes

ah isa-chan I WOULD LOVE too see some of your costumes!!! if u don't want to send them here PLEASE feel free to email them to me! i am so curious to see ur kagome and especially ur Miyu costume sense i am being inuyasha and my friend is being kagome for the one we are going to in a while and i really wanted to be miyu lol.
