Not a fan of their thrash days, except for Sanitarium and Battery, but I have pics, or rather, one picture I care to share, from their recent recording sessions for their follow up to St. Anger.
Behold, James could be your grandfather.

Hahaha, wow... Holy cow.

One of the atrocities of metal in the form of Hetfield's greying beard.

I like Metallica, but they haven't been the same since Cliff died and that was a long time ago. Cliff was awesome, great bassist. Sad

They pwn'd once...
But no more.
I wish James would shave, or I shall slap him.

You can't look at the link I posted and deny that they feathered their hair with the best of them.

It's not that there's anything wrong with it. It's just that they, along with most everyone else in the "exposed" section, went on to pretend they never feathered their hair when everyone else was doing it.

Mustaine is still pretty much the same, hair isn't as fluffy and his face is rougher. Hetfield and Lars look like they have aged more than him, well I think so anyway.

It's all that emotional strain. Laughing Maybe they need to talk about their feelings more. Some Kind Of Monster Part Deux.

Dave's always been a pretty boy. And proud of it.

One of the best Metallica videos ever. Fuckin' brilliant. Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning are two awesome albums.

Man, If only they had stayed like that. I still listen to their new stuff too, just to let y'all know. Smile
