Favourite card, eh? In terms of sheer awesomeness and l33t pwnage, or just a card that I like?

Anyway, I don't remember. Although for my birthday, a friend gave me a Japanese DMG. How nice of him.

As for sentimental value, I'd say "Green Phantom King"... I think. First card I ever got. 8D

I really liked Hourglass of Darkness, a 1100 ATK 1200 DEF moster that on the third turn it is on the field, (including the opponent's) its attack and defense doubles, so you attach the... axe... on it and it becomes a 4200 ATK monster if you use it right. :wub:

...That axe. Is so kickass. My deck won't go without it. =D

I love the Hayabusa Knight. 1000 ATK, but has a special effect that lets it attack twice per turn. So, get your cards right... BAM! 4000 ATK lv 3 monster that hits twice per turn. KICKASS. Combined with the Gravity Field trap, your opponent is pretty much paralyzed and open for ownage.

I loved it when the Joey starter deck came out few years back, every body would use the scapegoat card to protect themselves. I would get a strong monster out, and attached fairy meteor crush on it. so direct damage for few turns.

... I hate starter decks. No one knows how to use them properly. :mellow:

I rememeber my friend who had an Osiris (wtf I swear he spent thousands on Japanese cards). Bastard. xD And that kickass Elf Swordsman, too.

I totally have to go find my deck. <3 The memories...

I stopped playing around when the second set came out because I knew there'd bee too many cards to keep up with, and I wasn't really in the mood to change my strategy to accomodate the new cards. The second reason why I stopped was because everyone I played was like incapable of strategizing and kept losing to me. Trust me, it's not fun anymore when you literally win within your first five turns. D:

...The Yuugiou video games are a bitch. Especially the PSX one; you practically have to cheat to beat that game. DX

I stopped playing after I realized that all the money spent on is lost, and the friends I was making through the game were joke. I "sold" 120 dollars worth of stuff (If I sold it, it would have been about 200) to my grandmother for 20 dollars so she could give it to her latest grandson for a birthday present. They were all mint.


The experience with Yugioh taught me to never buy anything that I wouldn't use for life. So only thing I spend money on is food, art supplies, and occaisional mangas, (which I use it as art reference rather than entertainment). anyway, good times.

And yeah, starter decks do blow. They sometimes have good cards, but anyone that plays with them is a twit.

As for my favorite card? Hm...

I have a favorite card just because I like it, and that's Gemini Elf. Yay for hot lesbian elves! 8D Actually, it's just a really pretty card. I have the original print version, not the prize rare box-insert version, SO MINE IS SUPERIOR. Not to mention it's strong (at 1900 attack with 4 stars), so in my deck it goes. 8D

My favorite card to *use* is Great Maju Garzett. 0 atk, 0 def, 5 stars. It's effect is that it's attack becomes double the original attack of the monster that was used as a tribute for it's summon. So, what do you get when you sacrafice a Blue Eyes? 6,000 attack, bitches.

Equip it with Twin Swords of Flashing Light-Tryce (lowers attack by 500, monster can attack twice in one battle phase) and Shooting Star Bow-Ceal (lowers attack by 1000, can direct attack) to get a monster of 4,500 attack points that can directly attack your opponent twice.

WIN GAME.

When I played..I had shitloads of defense monsters, trap cards, and magic cards. I was such a coward. 8D Dark Elf + Mystical elf = kickass defensive combo. I never used Dark Elf to attack, for obvious reasons, she was just there as a sacrifice monster for the most part.

Anyway, my favorite card, when I played, was Petit Dragon. Yeah, I know. it was cute. I loved it. I still have it somewhere..I had about 300$ in Yuugiou cards, my mom made me give them to my brother, and he sold them D: I HAVE YOUR POKEMON CARDS THOUGH, FAG! DX

I only have three Venusaur, and two of them are the same. I used to be such a Pokemon TCG addict. 8D I still have most of my cards. I'd scan my favourite one (Clare's Umbreon, wtf it's so cute) but the sparklies don't go well with the scanner. =_=;

But yessss.

I doubt I'll ever sell any of my cards; they've got a rather lot of sentimental value. 8D I love looking at them to remind myself of when I had the time and money to waste on stupid s**t; they remind me of all the things I loved...

PS, Joou? Do you happen to have an mp3 of Shuffle? The one by Makkun? I feel like listening to it. 8D

I still have all of my Pokemon cards. My favorite ones are my Raikou and my Giovanni's Persian. Why Gio's Persian? I have no clue. :0 It just looooooks cool. And Raikou is my favorite Pokemon. =D
