Whoever loves Harry Potter post here and say what you like best about it, fav. Character..(ect.) Cuz' I know that I love it!
As for me, my favorite character/s are Fred and George, perticuarly if the Fifth Book.

But oh yeah, I LOVED the third book. Sirius is just wonderful. He actually is one of my all time Fav. book characters. But I have to disagree about the fifth book...but that's ok, you have your opinions, I'll have mine. I just hope that Sirius isn't really gone forever. *sniff*

Sorry guys but I personally hate Harry Potter. I really cant stand them although the previews for the live-action movie of "The Prisoner of Azkaban" didn't look half bad. It looks rather dark for a children's movie.

LOL you havnt even seen dark child program untill they put out the 5th and 4th movie LOL goblet of fire was an extremely dark childrens literate if you ask me... i mean rituals, cutting some one and not the mention murder LOL

any ways my favorite charrie is sirius black^__^ though i think they totally messed up his look in the 3rd movie he's cool. i think that the discription they give about what he looks like when he was younger sounds like a pritty cool guy to my ^__^

Yeah, in the third movie, I expected Sirius to look like Aragorn from the Lordof the Rings. But, I guess they didn't see it that way. gr!

Yup, there are others, but I can't really think of thier order right now. The third book is still my favorite (and will probably always remain that way) but the fifth one was good too. Fred and George's part made me cry, and every time they mentioned Peeves afterwards, it made me start sniffling again. How are they gonna do this in the movies, I ask you? They seemed to think Peeves was not an IMOPRTANT enough character or something. They can't just ADD him in the fourth/fifth year. So much for my favorite parts. ....bastards.

Another thing about the fifth book, it's easy to make a character likeable, but to make a character as DESPISABLE as Umbridge was...that's talent.

The Harry Potter books are great =D. My favourite characters are:

Bill Weasley (I'm a bit of a Weasley fan XD),

Luna Lovegood,
Lisa Turpin aand
Oliver Wood.

I have a thing for obscure characters, I love the way their characters aren't completely defined so you can muck about with them. It's very fun =D.
I love reading Harry Potter fanfiction, and I've written a bit of it myself.
I can't wait for HPB to come out *is impatient*

Even though I haven't read the 5th book yet, my favorite characters are Harry, Hermione, Sirius, and Ron. Hermione is sort of like me in school, that's why I like her and she has this spunk. ^_^

Don't get me wrong, I luv the books, but they're getting just a [i]teensy[/i] bit long. Also I have vowed to kill Rowling if she doesn't bring Sirius back to life, seeing as he's the coolest. EVER.

However, the guy who played Snape in the movies was phenominal. He's [i]exactly[/i] like I imagined Snape.

Wanna know what would be really cool? If Tonks were the new Defense against the Dark Arts teacher. She's the third coolest, behind Sirius and Lupin.

i was mad at J.K for taking lovely sirius-sama away!??! T__T he was cool and she said she made it so he could never come back....thats what she told a person when she was interviewed that is....T__T siri will never come back?!?! poor puppy

Yeah, she said somthing like 'If you want to be a childrens writer, you must be a ruthless killer.' Or somthing. After I read that in the book, I cried for about a month every time I lookedat the book. I'm dead Serious. <-SIRIUS!!!

Harr harr. After a little while Rowling's name-puns get annoying, though. I think Harry, Ron, and Hermione are the only people whose names [i]don't[/i] have a double meaning.

And what really got me in the movie was that [i]they mispronounced Sirius's name every time!!![/i] It's pronounced "Sear-rus" not "Sear-ee-us"
