Hello Fanart-Central staff, I have a problem and its NOT anything to be over-looked. I encourge you to read this entire post and not skip anying pourposely or by mistake.
You see, I was a regular post'ee on this board, I had joined sometime in 2005, and I became hooked on the fourms. Whenever I was on the computer, I was usualy on the foums here on fanart central. I was on them enough that my family and friends thought I was strage. Although I have not been on very much AT ALL lately becase of what the staff had been doing and not doing. I was fine, and had altot of fun on this site and I was making quite afew friends. That was until the layout of the site was changed, this is where my problem....no, the sites problem started. I signed on to my computer and got onto fanart central as usual. When I got there, the sites layout had been changed, quite dramaticly actualy. At first I thought I might have gone to the wrong website, but sure enough, it said Fanart-Central at the top. I thought "hey cool, they re-did the site" I thought It would be cool to have a new layout and mabey new features, but I was completely mistaken. When I went to the fourms, it directed me to the sand-box. Obviously in any persons right mind the 3 letters WTF would appear, and that was what was running through my head. Then I relized that I lost all my posts, my rank, and I was now refered to as "baby". I was confuzed I thought that mabey the site was experencing technical difficultiys. But I was also mistaken there. I couldn't write to the section that is for complaints and problems becase of my rank. So I did the best thing I could do and tryed talking to the higher ranks in the sand-box; such as fourm contributers. I was not responded to. I managed to make enough posts to complain here. Once again, I wasn't responded to. My friends told me to just give up and make a new MemberName and start over, but I AM loyal to the rules and policys of FAC and I know that it is against your rules/ploicys to have more then one name, so I didn't and still havent. I finnaly got fed up with this site and its staff, I was not being treated with any kind of respect, no one would listen to me. So I left Fanart-Central for a while, and I joined DeviantArt. I didn't get rid of my screen name, I just left it there for afew months. I just recently came back to Fanart-Central, and my rank was "New Member". I had around 35 posts, and It had orignaly been around 100. So less then half of my posts were returned. Hey it was better then nothing, so I took it. Just today, I went and made a poll in the Anime/Manga section, Titled "Favorite Naruto team characters" (you can go read it) I decided to go and give FAC another chance. 35 posts are enough to post anywhere on the fourms. So I posted. and I had forgotten somthing so I went to edit the poll. and when I went to check it, I had already had a responce to the poll, not actualy IN the poll, but in the post. It said that I needed to read the stickys, and that I was breaking the rules. I'm not quite sure what this person was refering to, its my understanding that the offical pairings thred is just where you say what your favorite characters and/or pairing are. It is not a poll, and it is not dedicated to one anime. So I fail to see why this is consederd "breaking" the rules. It's not insulting anyone and its not bashing the site, ITS NOT DOING ANY HARM!! I am trying to have fun with the members and meet people who could possibly become my friends. HOW CAN I DO THAT WHEN PEOPLE GO FREELY LOCKING AND DELETING MY POSTS AND POLLS?!? If its against the rules, it shouldnt be an option to make a poll there. Also, I held one of these polls in the past in the Games section, It was "What sonic game did you enjoy the most?" ITS THE SAME THING! and I was never told that it was against the rules and no one complained about it, actualy there were quite afew people who enjoyed it, isnt that what this fourm is about, having fun?, or is it just somewhere to follow a whole bunch of "rules" that dont make sence and not have any fun?? ( the person who posted and locked my poll was member: Kitzy, a fourm contributer.) Oh, and about the rules and guide lines, I'VE READ THEM! but oh...I forgot...the proof that I HAD read them was eraced when ALL of my post'ings were. I tryed to respond to him/her by telling them about my situation, but "kitzy" locked the poll right after I posted it. No one should just 'asume' that im breaking the rules of my own free will, becase these 'faults' are created by 'technical error'. I'll have you know I have read all the rules and guidelines, which for me is hard becase I have a hard time reading things becase I am extremely dislexyc and having to read it in english is even harder sence I dont have a translater on my computer, this...if you want to call it a note took me forever to get spelled right and put together, why I am even waisting my time trying to talk to you people who have burned me and ignored me in the past is beyond me. I guess I'm just showing pitty on anyone else this has happened to and/or will happen to in the future by trying to fix it now.

and if you get your topics closed because you are not reading topics closely, then perhaps you don't deserve to use the forum. I don't care how many posts you had, I don't care how much you enjoyed the forum before, this is now and take or get out.

Post counts don't matter, perhaps you think it shows your longstay with the site, but many people who've been here since the beginning are still retards, they aren't respected any more than newbies.


And Kitzy isn't a moderator, just because she posted last doesn't mean she closed it the topic. Topics can be closed without replying, lay off.



Edit: Perhaps you are unfamiliar with forum environment, I understand, but stop assuming you know the rules, view more threads in order to see what nature of threads get closed, and what don't.

polls in anime about favorite characters are not allowed because we have one stickied thread that covers all of the "who's your favorite character" thread. Lurk more.

You lost 70 posts? I lost 3000. Life goes on. The reason they were lost is many threads were deleted in the move and didn't carry over in the post count.

Only mods can lock threads, as Brian said.

You have to post in the sandbox first to give people time to [i]read the rules[/i] and not just jump in with posts in every other section. It has drastically cut down on the number of "HI!!!!" or "WHOZ UR FAV?!?!?!" threads. Everyone had to do it, don't act like you were singled out.

That whole rant was just an overreaction to something that has happened to most everyone. Reread the rules for individual sections, pinned threads, and look through current threads before posting. Hissy fits won't help.

Did you know that some people actually hit 100+ posts on a day when FAC is active?

It was kinda hard to read your post, but I did. Seriously, quit wanking. Things change and ya gotta change with them or get out, because they're certainly not going to change for just you. :X

Besides, if it hasn't been said before, I'll let you know: series-themed topics must be, you know, posted in its series thread. You don't start a new topic about something that's already been started and has its own thread.

And in the end, if you don't know something, you should ask someone who does before you make a complete ass of yourself.
