Let me tell ya, this film does not disappoint. I don't think there is a single slow part in the movie, a single instance where I am not laughing merrily. It branches a bit into some new territory, while still continuing to keep to the tried and true "Clerks" formula. The continuity from the first movie, through all of Kevin Smith's later movies, and then full circle back to Clerks II, as well as several nods to the other films, is a pleasant surprise and works perfectly.
I won't talk too much about it as it is hard to do so without explaining entire scenes at a time.
Go see it.
Now. _________________

"Where's Kelly"
I didn't think it was very good. Then again as of late I havn't been a huge Kevin Smith fan. There were a few parts that got some laughs out of me.. mainly the whole donkey thing... especially the pillowpants kid in that scene. But the emotional type bit near the end.. was too gay for words.
Jays tucked in pee pee... worth watching for. _________________ |

I kind of want to go see it just for Jay doing the Buffalo Bill dance... _________________

Heh, the best part was they started the Buffalo Bill scene, and then immediately cut to someting for about ten minutes. And then, just when you're starting to forget about it... BAM!! _________________

I really liked it.
Kevin Smith will always be king of the feel good movie.
Only complaint is that it had a bit too much of the "college film project" vibe, where some of it sounded like recited lines. Can never go wrong with Jay and Silent Bob, though, and yeah the Buffalo Bill scene was by far the best. The audience nearly died.
Great characters, as always. Omg the whole pillowpants conversation. And the donkey. And I just realized these are the same parts Layz liked. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Jay and Silent Bob is an automatic win. _________________

It's Clerks humor. Kevin Smith humor. If you've seen his other films, which as Will mentioned are referenced in this one, you'll probably at least enjoy it.
Dogma will always be my favorite. It kinda reminds me of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back in terms of quality. It's a fun movie but far from one of his best.
I personally laughed through the whole thing, as did everyone else. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
