As soon as you get a real answer, you let me know. That happens to me too....

I might have had experiances similar to you.

Do you get a dizzy/sick/light sensation and a feeling there's something you know but can't quite remember, that seems to be triggered by something? I have had these sensations triggered by things such as a German accent, the smell of a carpet, my woodwork teacher, walking along a tiled corridor and playing netball with a friend.
I'm not sure if this is what's called deja vu, but it is pretty scary and unpleasent. It can happen quite a few times in a day.

I heard one reason people have these experiences is remembering past lives, if you believe in reincarnation.
Another may be linking memories of forgotten dreams to real situations.

If you don't like having the deja vu, I suggest grab anything with words and read as hard as you can (this is what I do, since I hate the feeling) it "grounds" you in the real world.

If you like them, I guess concentrate on them when you have them. I've never tried to do this since I'd rather they just went away. Try keeping a dream diary - memories of your dreams might help you identify the deja vu.

Either something is trying to tell you somthing, your experiencing psycic episodes, these are just coincidences, or fate, because you know what's already going to happen so your subconcious mind does whatever tasks were in the dream without your waking mind relizing it. enkeli_kitten your problem could also be some kind of sycophrania I'm no expert but that's what it seems. (no offence)

Well, according to my boss it's because of your past lives. She's really into the whole metaphysical stuff. According to her your past life was so short that it ended quickly enough that you didn't have time to forget it before you passed onto your new one. So the best way to resolve that is to find someone who can hypnotize you and ask you about so called past life to get the facts on it. Things like russian accents may mean that you were in the military and/or lived in russia. You may have been a russian peasant or even a russian noble. You never know till you ask. Smile Some say it's a gift. You shouldn't be so creeped out, I guess. I think it's amazing when it happens to me.

I guess, if that's what you want to call it. I dunno, my English teacher told me that according to Freud deja vu is caused by the collective unconscious. Or basically that you may be experiencing something that happened to anyone at one point in time that has now been put into a shared human intelligence. Or something...it's very confusing, but then again that's Freud for ya. Simply, i think it means that when you experience deja vu you're remembering something that happened to some random person from history. I hope I didn't confuse you.

Glad to have helped with that. Anyway, i wouldn't worry about this deja vu. It's probably nothing too serious. But don't quote me on that. heh.

You're not using a recycled soul. Basically it means that your soul has been around a lot longer than you yourself has been alive in this body. You yourself (or your own soul) has memories of other times when you were in a different body. The experiences you had in that body are remembered after your death and saved basically. When you pass into your next 'life' you repress those memories to make room for new ones.
