Okay, this question has been nagging at me for..... about a year, I'd say.

Personally, I think the ninjas would totally kick the pirates' asses.

Unless they were the cursed pirates from "Pirates of the Caribbean..."

the ninjas... COME ON!!! NO CONTEST!!!! ninjas are mammals, the purpose of ninjas is to flip out and kill people and so on and so on.

to help myself decide, i will write a Short story.

Along time ago in the land of the distant seas, a great blizzard was approaching. The ships of these great watered fields felt the need for survival, and called upon the experts, the pirate elite. These were the nastiest dirtiest earth born scums, the true heart of barberic behaviour. These crews were placed throughout the sea, in an epic battle for survival, all were enimies, even their own kind.

The blizzard was approaching, the sky darkened and black, the rain described as frozen daggers, the wind a museum of death. The night was to be the end of the sea, the pirates were well prepared. The news of the blizzard gathered fear in everyone, and had their minds preoccupied.

Meanwhile, The japenease continued their stories of hellsent storms, and continued to spread their word. Sending an army of their finest to assault the unsuspecting foolish pirates once and for all...

The pirates didn't sleep that night, they were prepared for a battle against the air. They weren't prepared for ninjas...

Slowly, the ninjas began to climb up the sides of the ships, and cleverly merge themselves into the scenery of one massive ship. Swords in hand, the ninjas were prepared. Suddenly the first mate spotted the ninjas, but it was to late, his head lay on the floor, and his body was covered in stars.

Eventually the Pirates began to notice their counterparts being slayed, and prepared their guns and cannons. But the Ninjas were everywhere, and were much more skilled.

The captain ordered his men to fire the cannons, killing several ninjas. The pirates were no match nonetheless. it was only a matter of time before they were all executed.

Suddenly, a blackened figure emerged from the shadows, and pounced on a passing body, leaving it dead. He launced several stars into the throats of seven pirates, who by now, were filled with fear, unlike the ninjas, who were filled with concentration.

The pirates decided to blow up their boat, to be rid of all the enemies. The explosion sighed its last breath, and swallowed everyone on the ship. The ninjas died with honour. The pirates died cowardly.
The end.

See now, I totally agree that the ninjas would kick pirate ass. And if you want the monkey to win, then have the ninjas inject the monkey with ebola or something to infect the pirates and kill them off. :ph34r:

Ninjas! :ph34r: Ninja is a cooler word then pirate. And ninjas don't have a silly wooden leg stereotype! Plus ninjas have their own smilie.
