Well....it all depends on what you mean by 'worst'.
I've seen many movies that had no real plot, ones that were very inaccurate, etc.

So I'll explain:
- The Day After Tomorrow
All the weather events that happened in this movie...were very incorrect. Also, the fact that these men were in minus 20 celcius with their full gear on and still freezing - a bit of a stretch. Then when it got to minus 40, they had no gloves on and their faces weren't covered.

- Hostel
Pretty lame overall.

- Dead Alive
I realize this is a B horror movie, but it's just so lame that it isn't even funny =/

Then there was this one I went to in the theatre with my friend...all I remember is that it had a lot of fart jokes. The movie was so boring I can't even remember the title =/

I go out of my way to watch crappy movies. I love them. I THRIVE on them. However, I have seen a movie that transcends all others in crapiness. It is so bad, it's beyond funny bad AND sad-bad.

Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis. I though I was in for a humerously lame zombie movie... but gah. It just.... sucked. The lighting, cinematography, set design, and actors all felt like they had been plucked out of a teen sit-com like Boy Meets World or Saved By the Bell. It came across as one of those movies where they try to force multiculturalism on the audience and just end up mashing in a bunch of embarassingly racist stereotypes. It had about the same plot as a porn movie, except replace all the sex with zombies. Every female characte in the movie existed to be a vapid slut, get sexually harassed by a random greasy old man, and die. Every male character existed to be a GUN-TOTIN' KUNG-FU HERO MOTOCROSS GANGSTA and get bitten by a zombie.

The would throw aroud the STUPIDEST plot devices, like giving the new security girl who'd been working there for two days the code to release all the zombies. Whenever a character ran out of bullets, he would start kung-fu fighting the zombies. The zombies ACTUALLY shuffled around yellig "BRAINS! BRAAAAINS!" The actors just deadpanned all their lines, and in some cases stuttered and faltered as though they were reading the script for the first time.

The movie felt like it was on the verge of tryng to make you laugh at it, but it kept pulling it's punches right before it hit the funny-bad line. Instead, it just left you feeling unfulfilled and cheated out of an hour and a half of your life. Honestly, with a few jello bains my little brother could have made a bette zombie movie.

It's so scrap-worthy the only way they could possibly improve this film would be to go back in time and stop themselves from ever making it.

...I owned it for about 36 hours before I traded it in at a used DVD place for a copy of Jason X. I couldn't get a very good trade-in on it because they'd already had another two or thee people come in and try to unload their copies of it over the course of the weekend.

There have been other topics like this in the past but since they are super old I'll let this slide Smile But the double posting is no good. You can doulbe post in random, but not other forum mmkay.

Worst movies -

Marci X - I've posted about this movie before. Lisa Kudrow plays a rich and ignorant white woman. First of all it's Lisa Kudrow, so ya know this movie is going to suck. She.. "raps" in the movie. It is a horrible scene, that I covered my ears and closed my eyes during. Watch this movie and you'll hate yourself for it. "What's it like when black people have sex"... yeah seriously..this is a quote from the movie.

The Benchwarmers - WTF. Seriously I saw this sh*t last night. I thought Clerks 2 was bad when I saw it the night before.... but clerks has nothing on Benchwarmers. It tried too hard to be like old Sandler movies. The characters were lame, in a non funny way. The jokes were set up horribly. Like a 8 year old wrote the script. There may have been one or two point in the movie that were cause for a short laugh and smile. I just felt sad for Napoleon Dynamite... He's pretty much playing the same character... just a lil more retarded and less wierd. Yeah I called him Napoleon.. I don't care enough to remember his name. Don't waste money on this movie.

Edmond - This movie featureds William H Macey (The Shoveler!).. he plays a business man who decides to leave his wife one night. Then he heads off to New York where he decides he needs to get laid. He spends half the movie looking for sex from hookers in various locations.. but is too cheap to get any. A pimp comes his way and tells him he can get cheap ass, but then ends up trying to mug him. Well Edmond gets pissed and stabs the shit outta the guy while screaming a bunch of racial slurs. After that he goes a lil nutty and does some other crazy shit. So the movie actually looks like it is going somewhere. The way it is shot... the feel ya get when you are watching it.. really seems like something is going to happen.. like this movie will leave you thinking. Nope. It really just fizzles out into nothing and is only worth a laugh when he shaves his head and looks like Brain of Pinky and Brain. This movie isn't long... but it's a waste of bloody time. Keep away.

*edit*

I may have to replace marci x as the worst movie ever made. I have just seen Little Man. Not much to say about this other than...........WTF. This was a horrible.. horrible stinking pile of garbage movie. From the first 10 minutes on i was just waiting for that shit to be over with. Little man is a theif, he hides a diamond in some chicks purse and needs to get it back... so he pretends to be a baby left on their doorstep. In the time it takes him to get the diamond back he gets beat up by adults (they think he is a baby), rapes the woman he calls mom, and falls in love with his new family. WTF

I'm not really going to comment on your spelling. But if you have nothing to contribute to this topic other than "Moolon sux cuz the gurl wuz al dum + thay should hav kiled hur char cuz shee sux soe bad" Don't bother replying. You want to spam, do so in the random forum.

Time Bandits- no theme, to many people died for no reason, loss of plot, and it made fun of little people. All around bad movie.

Carousel- filth, promoted the beating of women as well as saying that it didn't hurt at all.

Do Not Disturb- Funny at some parts but perverted and showed that Amsterdam is a hell hole. But it did have a super strong seven year old deff girl who was out running a killer, and her parents were of no help.

Do not see these movies, I beg of you. For your own sake.

I enjoy watching movies that are laughably terrible, but some of them are just... really, really, bad.

"Candy." Ringo Starr plays a Hispanic gardener. Do I really need to explain this any further?

"The Hot Chick". Just lame and not funny. The only good thing about this movie is Rachel McAdams, but they didn't show enough of her.

Any Olsen twins movie. I forget the names. They're all the same, pretty much.

"Back to the Beach" Not funny. NOT funny! Why would the world need another Frankie and Annette movie? and in the 80s? *shudders*

I thought King Kong was terrible. They made a big deal about it having awesome special effects...they were no better than the ones in the first Jurassic Park Film. And the story line was all dumb.

Hostel

The only reason I don't hate this movie is because I won $20 from it. I would predict scenes with my boyfriend in $5 quantities and by the end of the movie I earned about 4 times than what I paid to watch this mundane piece of predictable, unentertaining movie. Not all of the mess comes from the blood piled on gore plus a splash of sexual fluids. The plot itself is a bigger mess than what was left of the man who got all of his vital organs ripped out. The jumbled plot for the movies goes like this:

Five horny Americans and stick them in Europe where all the women are sucking for money
One prostitute convinces them into going to a whorehouse by promising to sexually satisfy them when they arrive
Boys don't ask questions. They just follow the pussy
When boys arrive they come to find that it isn't a whorehouse, it is a murder house! Oh no! Why did they listen to that mean old whore? She was so trustworthy.
Four of the five boys die gruesome, cliche deaths (My first $5)
Fifth boy escapes and but stays behind to find out what this place really is. The fact that he had excessive bleeding and major head trauma apparently isn't enough motivation for him to go get help. ($5. It wouldn't be a crappy horror movie if there was logic in it)
The guy who in the beginning thought all women were just sex objects goes back to help a model who got her face mutilated. ($5 again)
They are seen by some henchmen and they are chased all through Europe. The henchmen are killed by some Tiny-Tim look-a-likes for some gum.
Apparently all of Europe is just some wasteland of murder, sex, and sin.
Model commits suicide by jumping in front of a train ($5 richer thanks to her)
End of movie

I could say more but I think you get my drift. Horrible movie. Just rent a horror cult classic like The Shining or Silence of the Lambs. At least you'll be satisfied with those.

Brokeback Mountain

Maybe its a little unfair to say that this is one of the worst that I've seen considering I didn't make it past the first hour. I will say with confidense that it is the most overly-hyped movie I've heard of. I didn't feel any connection between the two men and the buttsex scene happened so appruptly. I thought they were fighting at first but then one of the guys was unzippnig his fly and pulling down the other guy's pants and all of a sudden...bam! Surprise buttsex! It was so not romantic to me and I've seen romantic gay movies, this wasn't one of them to me. Just too boring.

I can't think of my 'worst movies of all time' list at the moment.. Some recent ones I've seen that were truly bad:

Mission Impossible 3: That was just.. a lot of running. And innocent people dying. And ridiculously pseudo complex plotting. And damnit, it wouldn't be on this list if they had just let him die.

V for Vendetta: The idea is pretty cool. I actually liked the part about the homosexual woman's letter thing. I couldn't identify at all with the other characters. The rest of the movie was quite dull and overwrought.

Silent Hill: Oh yes. Brilliant main character. Armed with a car.. which is replaced by a lighter.. which is replaced by a flashlight.. which is replaced by a knife that she loses in five minutes.. which is replaced by a bigger flashlight.. which is finally replaced by vengeful spirit or whatever of a tortured little girl, she ventures bravely into a haunted town filled with religious nutjobs. Whaaaaaaat the hell. I want those two hours of my life back.

Napolean Dynamite: Let me be honest...I have never, ever, ever liked deadpan comedies. Period. "Dynamite" was no different and over the past few years I have been absolutely appalled by how many people are obsessed by that movie. The acting was pathetic, the punchlines ill-timed and poorly acted, and the plot itself...pointless. When I see a movie, I want a definitive idea set out in front of me, so I can analyze it, and like it or hate it. Sure, I can muddle around a somewhat good plot for a few minutes, but if the entire movie simply wanders about I'm not going to enjoy it. And that's what really pissed me off about Napolean Dynamite...not to mention that the protagonist was someone who I could not relate to at all. Immature, weird, selfish and paranoid, Napolean Dynamite (and his family) just really drove me up a wall.

Failure to Launch: You can tell that the producers of a movie know they're dealing with stupid Americans because the movie is rife with slap-stick humor and innuendo. Launch is no different. I liked the outlines, yeah. I thought it was mildly fun, and entertaining. But what I didn't like was that the depth, the emotion of all of the characters and the humor itself was ridiculously shallow. The producers didn't take us for being idiots--they just knew. And THAT undermined the movie entirely. Period. And, once again, the acting was not the best. In fact, it was very dissapointing.

The Brothers' Grimm: Like Rosecrow, I've never really been a fan of Terry Gilliam's works and haven't been after Monty Python. Brazil was a dud, Time Bandits was a super dud...Gillian's problem is that he has these fantastic ideas but doesn't know where to go with them. The flaw with Bandits is that, while the idea could have been very fun, vibrant and entertaining for kids, it just turned out to be weird. The scenes were poorly choreographed, the cinematograph was terrible, with the lighting very dim, and the characters were strange--if not that, then the entire premise was buried under confusing dialogue and characters who would just appear and then disappear. No fun in any movie.

Anyhoo: The problem with Grimm is that the characters were stereotypical. You had the two brothers, the charmer and the nerd, who get themselves screwed over and have to find a way out, along the way saving a village from evil (with powers they claim to have but, in reality, do not), and pick up some chicks. I liked the premise originally...It was a nice, fun little flip on the Grimm fairytales, but once I saw the movie, I was dissapointed. Yes, the cinematography was beautiful, the costuming as well, and yes, there were so big names strewn about here and there...but all those big names did was make scared faces and scream like girls. Not funny. Not good acting. Just sad.

And thus.

There are a lot more, but I think that all this flame reviewing is making me angry...
