Right Now I Am reading the DragonLance books, I want to know what you think about the books. Me, I personally Love them. They are very good books.

I never read much DragonLance... Just the original four (or was it three?) books, and then the twins trilogy about Raistlin and Caramon. I ended up hating the twins trilogy so much that I never read anything else in the series. o_o; My reasons were mostly fangirlish, but I also remember getting really annoyed by Tasselhoff.

As for the Dragonriders of Pern... Now [i]that[/i] was a dearly beloved series. :wub:

The twins trilogy was just kinda bleh.

The Doom Brigade was awsome though! It was about the draconions after the war in search for the eggs that held the females of thier species. Really funny book.

War of the Souls Trilogy was awsome as well. It's got a dark bitter twisted Palin in it.... heh heh.. he actually manages to freak Tasslhoff out a bit :3 something even raistlin never really managed to do

Oh yea, I get a good laugh out of tasslehoff. You Got to love him. Im in the war of the souls book 2 right now. I got Mintour wars as well I plan to read that after I complete the war of the souls trilogy. Palin does scare tas alot about how he gots to go backand get SQUSHED HAHAHAHAHAHAHA*Cough cough*. Yes the books Are very good. Who is you favorite charecter Out of the whole war of souls trilogy? Mine has to be Galdur. I always thought back to when that soulder tryed to kill mina and Gaulder pounded his head down and killed him. I Love minotaurs. I also love Malyx, she always was a cool dragon, how she is the most feared of the dragons, What about you all???

Oh man... I read those books and I read and I read... there's so many! I like the older ones; the newer ones, especially the teen books, are starting to sound like bad RPG scripts.

Yes, DragonRiders of Pern is cool, isn't it? Smile

McCaffrey is my favorite author.

The Doom Brigade? Hm, I'll have to keep an eye out for it. I was always very fond of the draconians. There was one chapter heading picture of a draconian in the original book that I simply adored.

I read every single Pern book that I could get my hands on, until they started telling the same exact thing over, just from different peoples' views. I moved on after that. ^^;

D'oh, I just noticed that Papercut_Dragon's avatar is actually... a dragon. All this time I thought it was some person wrapped in robes or something. *feels stupid*

Not sure who he is. ^_^;; Sorry. But yeah, I love the DragonLance and Riders of Pern. ^_^ Jaxom's my fave, for some reason. I like how he and Ruth stand against all odds! And Sharra . . . well, she's cool. It also helps that her name's so much like mine! ^_^

But this is a DragonLance thread. I've read, like "The Dragons of the Autumn Sun" and those type of books. There were four or three of them, I think. I love Tasselhoff! he's my favorite! I love him! ^_^ He's just so innocently devious! Laughing

Oh, yeah! It really [b][i][u]does [/u][/i][/b]seem like a classic RPG, doesn't it? I mean, you have the friends meeting at the inn, the different races, the war, and the quest. Honestly, I'm surprised they haven't made one for this yet!

Ah and Shera, there are tons of resorces to play a DL version of AD&D if that's what you mean by RPG. I believe there was also a PC game of it a long long time ago (not using any of the main characters tho, but just the world, tho I could be wrong, it might have been for a different fantasy series)

I read the origonal sries too. But thats all. And thank all of you for warning me about hte Twins series cause i was an inch away from buying them *lol* Anyway who else thinks the origonal series's end is a bit strange and unsatisfying? Ow well. My favorite char. was non outher than FIZBAN (or *spoiler* Paladine *spoiler*) HE IS FREAKING COOL AND FLIPPIN FUNNY! lol
