Do You Have Favorite Pictures?

I can't decide on where a topic like this should belong. So I'll post it here and have no worries about if it needs moving.

Anyway, for this thread, how many favorite pics do you currently have on your FAC profile? And what's your view on faving pics in general?

I currently have only a few favorites myself, and I'm slow to add them. I've kinda felt that the more favorites I have, the more it dilutes what it means to [i]have[/i] favorites. I don't just go out and fave every pic that happens to catch my fancy, the pic has to be something [i]special[/i]. Hell, one of my favorites was a pic I didn't entirely like (subject-wise), but considering it was an anthropomorph, I liked how well they thought up its design and worked out the little nags and issues.

For me, it's more if I REALLY like it. I can't explain it in one go.

A few, I like the style they're done in. Others, because they're funny. Others, because... well... I just [i]like[/i] them. I can't explain it. They just have a personal touch that I want to huggle.

I don't add every pic I have a passing interest in. It has to be a GOOD pic. Something I can honestly say is not wasting space on my page.

I had to go look. 7. Most are requests people did for me n' such. A couple others that were just cool. I tend to only fav ones that are more than a pretty picture because there's too many I like, but the ones that were a request/gift/etc. that I'd like to remember...

On DA I have slightly more. Looking over it I notice it's mostly Axl Rose pics... Uneasy

I didn't mean for that to happen. I can't help it if only the really talented people draw him. Surprised

around 40 I'd say

Usually I +fav stuff if it's subject matter I like or really well drawn. If I like an artist's whole gallery I just add them to my favorite artists instead of adding every single one of their works.

I counted. I've got fourteen favorite pictures and two favorite stories.
I usually only add things to my faves if it's well drawn or if I think it's really funny. Sometimes a combination of the two.

I have like 10 on my fav list. I only fav pics that totally catch my eye and just seem to scream favorite Smile

........ or pics that were drawn for me. Which is rare cuz I don't really ever ask for anything. Basically I fav pics that are just all around awesome.. with color and clean lines and such. Smile

And sometimes I want to fav a pic but forget to. So I would have more if I just remembered to click a lil link.

I also have very few fav artists... I never add people to my list cuz I'm a lazy geek. I have animejanice on there.. anyone know what happened to her?

Agreed. I just found the first [i]artist[/i] to put on my faves. I must've dropped comments across half of his gallery, and I had to resist the urge to fave just about every one I looked at :lol:

I suppose I also have this little mental rule that if I've already faved a pic from one member, I don't want to fave another pic from that same artist. So I currently stand at 1 faved artist, 5 faved pics.

funny I had to go to my profile and count them...39. some that I love the style, some I like the subject, some that just struck ma as cute or funny at the time, and then of course the pictures that others have drawn for me.

i'm the one who voted 'thousands of them'

counted mine, i have 220 favorite artists and 6079 favorite pictures. i could be off by a little.

i think i win for most fave artists/pics :P
