|
|
I saw some girls on my way school and what i saw? Totally heavy make up... I act like i don't care from it when i pass them, but honestly, don't they know that there is something called limitation on using make up? Aren't they actually feared of getting some kind of allergy and can't later use that same make up anymore? Then are some other cases i've been wondering... Why some (rare cases?) are going to use that kind of make up every single day? It should be enough to use it lightly, ain't it? And would cost less when they can use it way more longer than now on my opinion. Then those being like they can't live without them... Not gonna even say. Eventought i am girl, i still don't even realize the importance of make up. What you guys think (especially girls)? _________________ |

I have a friend who won't even sit around her own house without putting makeup on. I'd say it's a bad habit.
I'm female, and I don't wear makeup...why? Because it's a waste of money and a lot of it clogs pores. I'm not trying to attract guys and I'm confident that I'm attractive without painting over my face or 'accentuating' my facial features anyway.
I have a friend who tells me to wear makeup- or at least eyeshadow- and every time I ask her why, she says "Because you could look so much more attractive!". I keep telling her I'm not trying to attract people
Then she gets angry.
I'm not even sure why many girls feel the need to wear it. I asked my friend and she said it makes her feel pretty. If you ask me, people are a lot prettier when their faces aren't coated with chemicals. _________________ |

Agree.
...I'm more with Kitzy on the matter. It clogs your pores (leading to acne problems) and it makes you look like a slut. Between the ages of 1-18 there really should be no need to wear make up. When you get older and the wrinkles come on...eh. I think that aging is a natural process, and we can't avoid it, but I guess that then if your appearance really bothers you then you can dab up...A little bit.
Make-up, like everything else, is good in moderation.
Otherwise, 'tis bad. _________________ What does it all MEAN? |

I agree, Megan and Kitzy. Completely.
I hate make-up. I avoid it unless I feel like being weird so I put on random bright colors (no foundation, evil!) and then wash it off right away.
What's disgusting is when some girls have so much foundation and powder on, if you poked their skin, it'd leave an indent.
Make-up=clog pores, increase wrinkles, increase acne, always afraid of smearing stuff, and it just feels heavy. _________________ Left for FAC, Right for DA |

Does no one wash their face?
Most people look drab with a completely clean face. No color, bad skin, ugh.
The problem is that most people don't know how to put it on, and because most of it is cheap. Well done make up is like a painting, airbrushed, carefully applied and blended, all color theory... not smeared around randomly with a foam q-tip.
Granted I wear...almost nothing 'cause I'm a lazy bitch in the morning. But makeup makes people look better. Bad skin creeps me out. And plain people make me sad. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Yes, but it's followed by "I'm lyke a free spirit n I dun ware no makeup cuz its teh icky lolz".
I don't think it really needs to be said that clown makeup is retarded, but so is anyone that doesn't know what they're doing. The mega-sharpie eyeliner is retarded and ugly too. The "I painted my eyes purple while drunk and without looking in a mirror" thing is oh-so-attractive.
But to say makeup in general is pointless....well...everyone here must be Iman (which having seen the photos thread, I assure you they're not). 'Cause humans in general are ugly. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Again, make-up is good in moderation and--you're right--when applied correctly. The problem is that almost all teens look like they just rummaged through their mom's purse and chucked some stuff on to look smexy. _________________ What does it all MEAN? |

I don't use make up either, cause i see no need for it now and had no need in past either. Some friends of mine tried to taught me to use them, but my mom brought me back into ground by telling negative sides of having make up at early age. Thank goddess i listened. _________________ |

If you're not pretty, with or without makeup, I won't look at you.
So go buy some foundation at least.
