Ooh, me! I do pixel art =). I do dolls mainly, but recently I've got in to isometric and other things. Pixel art is really fun, I find it easier than drawing on paper.
I use msp, psp or ps. Msp is good for the basic pixel art, and I find it easier to use. Ps and psp are better for more complicated things though. *Loveson layers* |

I wouldn't exactly call all things done in MSPaint "pixel art". I use it just like any other art program, though I deeply prefer the flexibility of more advanced ones for things like pixel width and colour choices.
Still, Paint is only something I use when I don't have access to PSP. It's not something that will make or break an artist, but it is a slight hinderence.

I've done work with sprites... but I doubt that really counts for much since it was mostly color editing and adding in minor details. Is that even pixel art? I dunno. I've done one original sprite myself, which was of Neo from the Matrix. |

Just once. Never ever again. Near killed me. Then again, I never was able to leave well enough alone and just do something simple. It was a painfully complex animation that, looking back on it, sucked anyway. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I dont really know what art is considered pixel art. all my art is inked in MSP, but I always thought when people talk of pixel art its notchy looking. My stuff is totally different. the paper size and the way I use the tools gives the impression of lineart with a pen. _________________ 'It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. Pixel art is stuff done pixel by pixel, usually small (for obvious reasons). MS Paint is just a popular choice for it 'cause it's free and has a pencil tool. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
