Okay, I have just tried to upload a new pic, and got an error message instead.
Here's what the error message said:

Fatal error: Class '+ ' not found in /usr/local/share/pear/PEAR.php on line 557

I'm pretty sure it wasn't something I did just now, since all I basically did was hit the link that said 'Upload a Picture from Your Computer'

It sure looks like it. Though I am still trying to figure out what the heck pears have anything to do with (as far as the error message is concerned). Too tired to really think deeply on anything right now.....
