What are you gonna do when you get out of highschool? I had an epiphany a couple days ago and i've been really looking at my post-highschool life.

After I get out of Bear Creek Secondary I want to go to Seneca which is Canada's largest college. I was looking into the Journalism program, which is something I really want to do (if you've read my profile on the mainsite...). I'm still a kid so I got a lot of time to think (i'm only going into Gr 10). I just want to get a jump on it. What about you? Do you have any plans for post-HS?

Seneca was my second choice when I was applying to colleges Very Happy

Their animation program was designed by an old program co-ordinator of Sheridan's.

I think it's interesting you want to become a journalist, Red. That's pretty cool. don't they have any classes for it at your high school?

Me? I don't know yet. I'm thinking of double-majoring--maybe in Piano and Composition. As to schools, I'm thinking either Colorado Univerisity (CU), University of Wyoming (UW), or Berklee. And that's just for music. I honest-to-God want to pursue composing music as a major. Last month I hit a point where I found a way of figuring out the music that makes it a helluva lot easier to write, and I think I can push forward with it.

Or...If that's not what really gets to me, I'd like to major in English. As to the schools to go to? Who knows. I'm looking at Dartmouth (family's gone there--and, like any school, if you have fam. hist., they let you in for a little cheaper), or just plain CU once again.

But...God. Graduation's only two years away....I gotta get a move on it and decide soon. Sad

I still have a lot of time to choose but the only thing I am sure of, is that I will go live in Israel for a year after I graduate, a school tradition, most of the people who graduate go to Israel for a long trip with little to 0 adult care

I have less than a year to choose... D: I'll probably end up going to SFU Surrey, since that's where my brother went (it's in a mall! it's by a skytrain station! awriiiiight!! Very Happy). Dunno what for, though. Maybe first-year sciences, then I'll see what to do from there.

Planning on doing a bit of vacationing first, though. A planned trip to New Zealand, and [maybe] a trip to Japan (Akibaaaaaa) . :]

Probably attending a performing arts university, as far away from home as I can get.

Yeah, that's the one. I usually just call it Surrey Central out of habit.

Though it's so small, I'd probably end up bussing out to Guildford on my breaks. Confused

Yup but i'm gonna hold off on Optionals like that until my Gr 11 year. Just get my mandatory courses over with.

I think you'd be good at composing, Megan. It takes a creative person and in a lot of ways writing a musical composition is like writing in general. Your user name speaks for you, there. Either way you'd probably go far.
But...God. Graduation's only two years away....I gotta get a move on it and decide soon.
Considering we're both in the same grade, I guess we look at it opposite ways. I think of it as "two whole grades". You think of it as "only two grades".

Barrie, Ontario. I think that's like BC. Razz

Ya. I definately want to do some traveling. Japan is at the top of my list, maybe Britain. Definately Australia and probably Sweden.

She's not out of school yet. She's in Gr 12. But Sheridan was at the top of her list. I'm not sure what program. Probably something to do in fashion. She works at an H&M.

Well, the future freaks me out, but I am thinking about UCLA, taking phisics and English, having a minor in art of course. I hope that I am accepted to a nice graduate school like my cousin was.

I'm hoping to go to Gordon TAFE to get a Certificate III/Advanced degree in Multimedia studies and then probably go on to either RMIT or Deakin University in Melbourne (at that time I'm hoping to live with my Dad)

If by the time I finish Grade 13 (I'm staying an extra year so I can do more gym and arts), if my science mark is better than my language marks, probably McGill of Montreal for medical sciences.

If vice versa, I think I'll go into foreign languages and linguistics - translator service for companies perhaps.

Hm.. I only have two years of High School left [I'm a Junior] but I havn't really decided on what college to attend yet, nor have I even applied for any yet.

I need to get on it.

But yeah, I'd like to go to school for something like art, or computers, or mathematics or something of sort.

Not sure yet. Just depends.
