Need PS3... soon!

I'm thinking about getting PS3 and the new Sonic the Hedgehog game for it... is there any particular release date for this? If there is and it's too long a wait, I may decide to purchase XBox 360 and get Sonic the Hedgehog for that. So, when is PS3 due out?

Sony is suffering from manufacturing problems. Word is they've only sold about 200,000 worldwide in the past month, not near enough to satiate the demand for it, and eBay price tags are way up there.

The Sonic game in question has reportedly been delayed until January.

The PS3 ain't over here yet, not until like around March time but know it's already out in America. Over here all I've heard is mostly complaints about it, I'm sure it has good qualities like most things but not on top of my list to get, not until they lower that price. Everyones going mad of the Wii, totally sold out in every store in the country.

I know, our local store had a shipment of 'em (about two dozen, I hear) Friday, and by last night they were sold out again, while they still had one PS3 on the shelves (and you can bet they didn't get nearly as many of them).

Okay, time to move any further discussion to the pinned PS3/Wii thread.
