ok. i know evrey one here expects artists to be ALL PERFECT, but when you approch an artist's work, and you find that they are better then you (and i know that sounds mean, Rolling Eyes ) but one thing is certain, you mus'nt tell them strate out, " i want a request" "i want blah...blah...blah" but, not EVERY artist can imagion the same thing you are.
and one majour fact an artist goes by, is that, when you start a peace of work, you cannot walk away from it, untill its finished. even when you do walk away from it, you can't stop thinking about it, and you just wanna finish it as soon as posible. a deticated and expeirenced artist would work on it, and work on it till its finished, even when the person is tired, they'll continue to slave over it. its like a dream your SO close to getting to, you just can't think about giving up. when you're so close, who would want to give up? and when you finally reach that goal, your proud of your self. thats just like an artist, if you DO happen to give up, you keep thinking to youre self, "i wonder what it would've been if i had finished it?" and then you'll wanna start all over again. then, when you have finished that peace of work, you get so happy, the you just can't wait to show everyone. even when you have no one to show, you just GOTTA show some one. or like some other people, (like me Laughing ) like to keep their work to them selves, worried that no one can take their art seriously, because you try explain a story of say something in your art work, but the people you show, don't get what your tring to express, and think its weird.
of course, this is what the seriouse artists think.

for the other artists, they like doing comedy, of like the attention of people facinated with their work. you can get certain advise from anywhere. or, if you know a few, you can give advice to people.
like me, some people enjoy giving advice to other people. some people like doing that som much, that they'll try anything just so people can at least ask even a little question about art.

well, i sort of wanted to tell that, so my words can go out to the people who are like that...and...so.......be halpful!!!
imma carrin person!!!! Smile Very Happy Cool Razz Twisted Evil

Wait, how can you just straight out say what 'serious artists' think?

Have you asked Da Vinci? Monet? Matisse? Rodchenko? Warhol? Pollack? Oldenburg? o.o'' *pulling random names outta the top of my head*

And anyway I, if I can call myself any sort of artist, which I hesitate to do in the first place, do not think like that at all. o.o''

And! This looks like it belongs more in general art discussion or something.

My hundreds of unfinished projects beg to differ.

I have unfinished projects, mostly because I don't like what I started off with, or it didn't turn out very well. So I'm not inclined to finish it.

I don't mind finishing my artwork in bursts, instead of all at once. I'm no longer worried about finishing the artwork immediately, because I'm not worried about finishing it all in one go, and I might get to take breaks in between. Although that may mean losing concentration on it. Everyone is different about this though.

i don't think much of that is true.

you need to use correct spelling and grammar.

Not of the Fibonacci variety either, where said repetitions are woven into the very fabric of nature in some kind of cosmic mathematical coincidence that makes you wonder if there really is a design to everything after all, but more of Grandmother's quilt variety, where said repetition makes you wonder where in the world people can purchase such hideous floral pastel patterns and why they think you'll want to display them in your living room.
