Yo! Tv

I just got word that my oldest brother, Tom, just signed up with the WB for YO! TV (he'll find out when it'll actually start airing on the 20th)

Here's the deal:
Years ago my two oldest brothers (Tom and Mick) started this sketch comedy group "[b][u]The Donkey Punch All Stars[/u][/b]" [unaware of the phrase's meaning at the time] (MAN am I glad I still have that shirt!!)

A ton of kids at my school wore the shirt, not knowing about the group, just knowing the phrase...
ANYWAY!!
They pretty much just performed at coffee shops and whatnot, and then progressed to theatres like "The Parkway" in Oakland. (california)

No one really thought that it was going to go anywhere, they thought they were waisting their time, and the younger of my two older brothers, Mick, dropped out (because he didn't get his way with the scripts.... T.T;; )

And now they're going to be on TV!!!!!!
[b]DPA[/b] is the focus of Yo! TV! But ALSO!! They're going to show my younger brother, Andy's, animations on it (if he can bring up the calibur enough)

Me and Andy started doing claymations when I was in 7th grade (when I found the "stop-motion" feature on my camcorder)
I fell out of it (once I got a job and such) but he kept with it and got really good at it. (He's now doing Flash cartoons on Newgrounds and he's on FAC as "TX2")

So I'm going to help him with that n.n

This is SO friggin' exciting!!! ^.^!!!!!!

My brother just got back from Texas (he was meeting with some of the WB people)
they air in the Second week of SEPTEMBER!!

w00t!! We find out what time slot this week!!
holy SHIATSU this is huge!! O.o;;;;

Sounds...painful. But I'll be sure to watch! I'm mad the WB cut On The Spot (mmm Jeff Davis...), so I hope this does well. Smile

funny thing is, when they started the group (they do sketch comedy) YEARS ago, they didn't know what it meant. They just thought it sounded funny.
lol

I think that's why a lot of people had the shirts but didn't know who the hell they were lol
