yea, i agreed with most of their choices, but the order of the list was kinda weird. also, i could think of a couple of very good hard rock bands that should have made it, but i guess they're kind of underground/unpopular bands. it makes me wonder just who picks these things...
listening to: "Brain Damage" by Pink Floyd
next: "Prosthetic Head" by Green Day _________________ i fought the war, but the war won |

They send out little surveys to a bunch of people in the music business ("including members of Def Leppard, Korn, and Black Sabbath...").

ACDC-Back In Black
For those of you who don't know much, this song is not sung by the original singer, he died, and this is sung by the man who was lucky enough to replace him, and it's sort of a tribute to the guy (the one who died dumby) I'm surprised at how many people don't know that, so i've decided to state that, and now that i have, i am happy. |

Lasher, a walking talking True Spin episode.
Though the number of people who don't realize the song is about Bon is astounding, the stupidity of those people is even more surprising. I like the bells chiming at the beginning of Hell's Bells. A fitting send off for a legend. RIP Bon.
And amazing of all is their ability to get an equally talented singer to take his place instead of some half-assed loser trying desperately to fill the shoes of the first (*ahem* Sammy Hagar... ). Go Brian!
"Garden of Eden" - Guns n' Roses ('I read it on a wall/it went straight to my head/it said "dance to the tension of a world on edge"/ we got racial violence/and who'll cast the first stone/and sex is used any way it can be/sometimes when I look out it's hard to see the day/it's a feeling, you can have it/it's not mine to take away...This fire is burnin' and it's outta control/it's not a problem you can stop/it's rock n' roll...suck on that')
