People say it's the worst in the series. Sure, the cartoony graphics may be a turn-off for the people who loved the gritty, realistic graphics of Ocarina and Majora's but even so, they certainly aren't "bad" by any means. Some even argue that they're better than Twilight Princess because of the textures.

I think the story is more likable than most other LoZ games, aswell. The characters are far more likable and it seems that everyone you meet, right down to the random NPC, has a level of intriguing depth. Even this version of Link is better, in my opinion. My heart almost melted when he first said "Come on!".

Wind Waker is my favourite game of all time and is generally considered so and I simply can't wait for Phantom Hourglass to come out for the DS later this year. However, WW still gets a lot of trash talk. I think some gamers need to start embracing, or atleast being open to, a more light-hearted atmosphere. If you're one of those people, tell me what you didn't like about it.

Windwaker was really cute and fun. It was innovative (yes, yes, like every other Legend of Zelda game).

I actually have never heard anything bad about Windwaker. This is the first time I've heard such and it surprises me. The game was a lot of fun and had a bunch of side quests that were difficult and challenging, but satisfying.

The dislike for Wind Waker's graphical style stems partly from the "bait & switch" effect; Nintendo had already released a trailer for a more realism style Zelda but then suddenly switched gears to the cartoony, cel-shaded look.

windwaker was the best... even better [dare I say it] than twilight princess... the enemies were cooler, as well... so cool, in fact, that I was inspired to write a fanfic about a kargaroc... it is called a kargaroc's tale... let me know if you want to read it.

I think there coming out with a zelda game that looks just like the wind walker on the DS.
